Listen for Both Humans and Pets! Major Development Launches 'Music for Dogs & Cats' Playlist for Enjoyable Home and Condo Listening, Creating Equal Happiness for Humans and Pets

We developed the music with expert veterinary consultants providing guidance to create songs for the equal happiness of all lives, which is a challenge in arranging music that satisfies the happiness of both humans, dogs, and cats, who have different physical characteristics in hearing sounds, including frequency, volume, rhythm, music genre, and instruments used. The resulting music has a rhythm that matches the heartbeat of dogs and cats, with sound waves at a pet-friendly level, and we selected instruments that produce relaxing sounds, making these songs akin to light therapeutic music for both humans and pets to enjoy together. Just like our concept of creating pet-friendly condos, we think of every dimension to meet the needs of all lives equally, reinforcing Major's position as the number one leader in Pet-Friendly Residences, committed to ensuring that both condo owners and pets can live happily together,” Arati stated.

All the music in this project was created and arranged by Welfare6, featuring Lofi Pop and Chillhop melodies in the style of Music Therapy, with 2 versions: one for dogs with 12 songs and another for cats with 12 songs, prepared as a playlist available on various platforms including Spotify, Joox, Apple Music, and can also be enjoyed on YouTube with an 8-hour looped playlist, providing enjoyment for pet owners while working from home and delivering happiness to the pets living together harmoniously.

Additionally, the music will be used in various areas of partners who share a pet-friendly stance, like Major, such as Central Festival Eastville, to elevate the happiness space through music for both owners and pets to enjoy equally.

According to Dr. Waliya Kanjanapongkit, Director of Management / Veterinarian at Jusco Animal Hospital, who is an advisor for this project, the music from the project “MAJOR PETSCAPE presents Music for Dogs & Cats” by Major Development, created to foster equal happiness for both humans and pets, reflects deep care and is a positive phenomenon that meets the needs of modern pet owners living in residential spaces. The differences in hearing capabilities between dogs, cats, and humans necessitate an understanding of various insights about pets. For instance, dogs and cats prefer music with rhythms close to their heartbeats, with dogs having a heart rate of 70-120 beats per minute and cats at 120-140 beats per minute.
The suitable music genres include classical, pop, and soft strings, with instruments that produce sounds that are comfortable for hearing, such as piano and violin. The newly arranged songs meet these criteria, and when tested with dogs and cats, the results were impressive, with many pets relaxing and some even falling asleep to the soothing music.

On the other hand, Mr. Rangsarn Panyachai, one of the producers from Welfare6, revealed that it was a significant challenge to create music for both humans and pets to listen to together in balance, marking the first time a melody has been composed with the needs of pets in mind. The aim was to interpret and respond to the concept of “equal happiness,” creating joy for both humans and pets while producing music that aligns with the modern lifestyle of today’s people, crafting songs that can be played throughout the day, enhancing focus during work, and helping to relieve stress. We researched the tempo of the music (BPM) and collaborated with the veterinary team until we produced music and playlists that have been tested with groups of dogs and cats, proving to be enjoyable and creating happiness for both pets and humans equally.
