One Bangkok invites design enthusiasts to participate in the One Bangkok Urban Furniture Competition 2022 and explore an exhibition of public seating for urban living during the Bangkok Design Festival from February 5 to 13, 2022.

One Bangkok, the largest and most comprehensive real estate project in Thailand located in the heart of Bangkok, is designed with a focus on people. In collaboration with THINK Studio, a design studio featuring a diverse group of emerging designers, they are hosting the One Bangkok Urban Furniture Competition 2022 with the design theme “Seatscape & Beyond.” They invite university students from all disciplines who are passionate about design to create public seating for urban living (Urban Furniture), with a chance to win prizes totaling over 500,000 THB. Participants will also have the opportunity to engage in workshops and develop their designs with leading professional designers from Thailand.

Selected works will receive support for production costs and the chance to be installed and used in the One Bangkok project, creating a sense of pride in being part of this grand global initiative in the heart of the city. Interested individuals can visit the exhibition and prototype works of public seating for urban living by THINKK Studio, part of the Bangkok Design Festival 2022 (BKKDW2022), which serves as a meeting point for the new generation to seek inspiration and become part of the design competition that will unleash limitless creativity in public seating.
