PPS Unveils Business Plan for 2022 highlighting a strategy to develop innovations that elevate the organization to an international level, aiming for a turnaround in performance with a revenue growth target of 10%. The focus is on providing diverse services to create differentiation, increase opportunities for projects, and spread risks. In the first quarter, the company is accelerating operations in both public and private sectors, showcasing a backlog of 700 million baht and expecting to recognize 300 million baht in revenue this year, while also bidding for new projects.

Dr. Pongthorn Tharachaichai, CEO of Project Planning Service Public Company Limited (PPS), revealed that the business direction for 2022 focuses on a strategy to develop innovations that elevate the organization to an international level, with a goal of achieving a turnaround in performance and a revenue growth of 10%.

The company plans to develop and implement innovations related to its services, including:
1. Expanding comprehensive contracting services (Turnkey Design Build) for renovation projects to differentiate from competitors.
2. Developing virtual spaces that allow clients to view model areas and use them as virtual showrooms to enhance sales capabilities.
3. Innovating project management processes, which are the company's core business, such as work inspections, coordination, schedule control, and document management.
4. Innovating support functions (Back office) to facilitate clients and employees.

“PPS recognizes the changes in technology, the risks of business operations, and the increasing competition. Therefore, the company must adapt and evolve continuously. PPS is one of the first engineering consulting firms ready to develop technology and apply it in construction by expanding diverse services to target new customer markets. In the long run, this technology will be a crucial driving tool to enhance work efficiency, pushing the company to grow according to its goals and generate continuous profits,” Dr. Pongthorn stated.

Regarding the operational outlook for the first quarter of 2022, the company is preparing to submit proposals for public and private projects, anticipating several investment projects in line with economic stimulus policies. The company has secured new projects, including consulting for the Sanam Chan Palace project in Nakhon Pathom, the Lotus Community Center, and other Moderntrade group projects, resulting in a current backlog of approximately 700 million baht, with an expected revenue recognition of about 300 million baht this year.

Meanwhile, the development of luxury villa real estate projects in Laem Yamu, Phuket, was impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic last year, causing delays in sales progress. However, the group has developed common areas, including roads and power supply, to facilitate interested parties visiting the project. It is expected that in 2022, the severity of the COVID-19 outbreak will decrease, allowing operations to proceed as planned.
