The Association of Siamese Architects under the Royal Patronage in collaboration with TTF International Co., Ltd. is fully prepared to host the 34th Architect Expo 2022, returning bigger and better than ever for architecture, design, and construction enthusiasts. This year's theme is "CO-WITH CREATORS: Collaboration and Coexistence", marking the first time architects from three regions—Northern, Southern, and Northeastern Thailand—have united to create a grand exhibition at Challenger Hall, Impact Muang Thong Thani, showcasing the impressive designs of the Thematic Pavilion by emerging Thai designers and innovative construction products. The event aims to attract 300,000 visitors and generate over 20 billion baht in economic activity, boosting Thailand's economy as it recovers from the pandemic. Over 75% of exhibitors, both local and international, have already confirmed their participation.

Mr. Chana Sumpalang, President of the Association of Siamese Architects under the Royal Patronage, stated that the 34th Architect Expo 2022 represents a grand comeback after two years, and for the first time, it features collaboration among architects from three regions to create the largest architectural technology and construction product exhibition in ASEAN. This reinforces the main objective of the Association to use the expo as a platform to showcase construction materials and educate about innovations in the architecture sector. The expo also introduces the Thematic Pavilion, where attendees will witness collaborations between promising new designers and construction material suppliers, creating exhibition spaces that rival global design standards.

Mr. Pongpol Yutharat, Chairman of the Architect Expo and representative from the Northeastern region, mentioned that this year's expo opens new frontiers for cross-disciplinary collaboration, reflecting a fresh image that appeals to both seasoned and new design enthusiasts. The theme CO-WITH CREATORS: Collaboration and Coexistence is evident in the collaborative efforts of the three chairpersons from different regions and mirrors the current trend of architects working alongside various creators, such as lighting designers, chefs, and cake designers, to enhance the presentation of food. The Architect Expo 2022 is thus a pivotal moment that will transform the visitor experience.

Additionally, Mr. Pongpol added that "Now Normal" defines the Architect Expo 2022, as the atmosphere will evolve, and the event will feature online activities throughout the promotional period to enhance audience engagement beyond the six-day event. These online activities are not merely a response to the COVID-19 situation but will become a highlight of the event in line with the changing lifestyle.

Mr. Isara Aree-rop, Chairman of the Architect Expo and representative from the Northern region, stated that the Siamese Architects Association will focus on presenting stories, thought processes, and collaborative principles between architects and creators. The organizing committee has selected 12 representatives from the Northern, Northeastern, and Southern regions, four from each, to showcase works that embody CO-WITH CREATORS through cross-cultural and cross-functional collaborations, such as architects partnering with brand owners like Rubber Killer or music producers. The event's key visual, designed by Ductstore The Design Guru Co., Ltd., also reflects this concept, featuring a unique character designed by Benzilla, a prominent street artist, showcasing the learning and interdependence central to the event's theme.

Mr. Rajit Raden Ahmad, Chairman of the Architect Expo and representative from the Southern region, expressed that the Architect Expo 2022 will mark a significant turning point for exhibitions and events with a clear concept, allowing participants to collaborate beyond age or profession. Everyone can work together, relying on one another to create a model of cooperation that can be passed down through generations. He believes this year's event will be memorable for its content and design, reflecting the organizers' commitment amid challenging circumstances.

Mr. Supaman Markha, Deputy Managing Director of TTF International Co., Ltd., as the event organizer, stated that with over 30 years of experience in managing large exhibitions, TTF is fully prepared to coordinate with exhibitors and welcome both local and international visitors under strict COVID-19 prevention measures to ensure maximum safety. He is confident that this year will see full participation from exhibitors at Challenger Hall.

Recently, over 75% of exhibitors, both new and returning, have expressed confidence in the event's potential, including SCG, CONNEXT Group, MAKITA, TOA, JORAKAY, LIXIL Group, MITSUBISHI, EDL, WDC, and exhibitors from Japan and India.

Moreover, the event will feature innovative construction products, with many brands set to launch new products, such as TOA Organic Care, the first and only water-based paint made from plants in the country, Snow Roof from VG, a new laminate collection from EDL, new tile collections from Italy by WDC, and the HP DesignJet T230, the world's smallest wide-format printer. Additionally, there will be a competition between top tool brands from the U.S. and Japan, such as BLACK+DECKER and MAKITA. Besides construction technology, there will also be a Designer Hub Pavilion, providing design services across all fields, reinforcing that this year's Architect Expo caters to all design enthusiasts.

"In the face of COVID-19, this has been the most challenging time for both organizers and suppliers. However, the Architect Expo 2022 remains a highly anticipated event. The past two years of the pandemic have deprived operators of a platform for exchange and information presentation. As the organizer, I prioritize safety, implementing COVID-19 control measures as per the guidelines set by the CCSA. Our team will continuously update information with relevant agencies regarding the event and other events to ensure that the Architect Expo 2022 can proceed grandly and vibrantly once again, expecting around 300,000 visitors and generating over 20 billion baht in economic activity. I believe the Architect Expo 2022 will play a significant role in stimulating the economy this year," Mr. Supaman concluded.

The Architect Expo 2022, under the theme "CO-WITH CREATORS: Collaboration and Coexistence", will take place from April 26 to May 1, 2022, from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM at Challenger Hall, Impact Muang Thong Thani.
