N.C.C. Management and Development Co., Ltd., or N.C.C., is creating a new chapter for the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center (QSNCC) as it transforms into "The Ultimate Inspiring World Class Event Platform for All," accommodating all types of events without limits. This transformation reinforces its identity beyond just a convention center by developing a full-scale retail space under the concept of "Active Lifestyle Mall," set to launch with over 100 leading brand stores to cater to the lifestyle of fitness and health enthusiasts, as well as the demands of families and urban professionals.

The new retail space at QSNCC boasts a prime location that is highly accessible, with direct connections to the MRT within the building, allowing visitors to easily reach QSNCC at any time. The surrounding area is enveloped by the Benjakitti Forest Park, a vast green space of nearly 450 rai, serving as a new lung for Bangkok residents and a community hub for health enthusiasts to relax and exercise regularly. With the potential of this area and its lush surroundings, the QSNCC retail space is set to become a new urban shopping destination that offers unique services tailored to the needs of modern city life.

The launch of the new retail space at QSNCC will serve as a comprehensive hub for active lifestyles in Bangkok, known as Bangkok Active Lifestyle Mall ("BALM"). The retail area has been expanded from 7,200 square meters to 11,000 square meters, divided into zones including food and beverage outlets, event support, and active lifestyle shops, catering to health and fitness enthusiasts while ensuring international safety standards. This marks the first retail space in Thailand to offer such services. Additionally, a flagship store for a leading Thai sports equipment and apparel brand is set to open.

Mr. Sakchai Pattarapreechakul, Managing Director of N.C.C. Management and Development Co., Ltd., stated, "N.C.C. is committed to elevating the event platform services and creating a world-class experience. We aim to position QSNCC as more than just a convention center in the Asia region. We anticipate that upon completion of the development project in September 2022, we will attract over 13 million event organizers and visitors annually. To enhance our service capabilities, we have expanded the retail area by 30%."

On this occasion, N.C.C. has entrusted the retail business development team of Frasers Property (Thailand) Public Company Limited ("FPT"), led by Ms. Thiranant Kornsritipa, Executive Vice President, to spearhead the development and marketing of the retail space at QSNCC. This decision is based on their experience and expertise in managing successful projects such as 'Samyan Mitrtown' and the latest 'Silom Edge,' along with a strong network of strategic partners, ensuring that FPT will effectively enhance the retail space traffic at QSNCC.

Ms. Thiranant Kornsritipa, Executive Vice President of Retail Business Development at Frasers Property Commercial (Thailand), remarked, "As a representative of the company, we are honored to be entrusted by N.C.C. to develop and manage the marketing of the new retail space at QSNCC. We will apply our knowledge and experience to ensure the project's success. Although this retail space is located within a convention center, its modern design aligns with the lifestyle of today's consumers, combined with its convenient location directly connected to the MRT and adjacent to the Benjakitti Forest Park, creating the first full-scale Active Lifestyle Mall in Bangkok (BALM). We are confident it will be well-received and become a new gathering place in the CBD, appealing to a broader customer base, not just event organizers and attendees, but also active urban dwellers and fitness enthusiasts. In the future, this new retail space will undoubtedly become a central hub connecting diverse communities together.

Currently, many leading restaurants and brand stores are interested in the retail space, with over 20% of the total retail area already signed. Many more potential clients are in negotiations, and the company expects to increase the leasing deals to 40% by the first quarter of this year.

For those interested in the retail space, reservations and inquiries can be made at [email protected] or by contacting 02 229 3111 to be part of this new phenomenon as the first full-scale Active Lifestyle Mall in the heart of the city.
