IHG Hotels and Resorts and Siam Sindhorn Co., Ltd. have announced plans to launch the first Vignette Collection hotel in Asia, with Sindhorn Midtown joining the IHG family in the Luxury & Lifestyle collection in March 2022.

This collaboration follows the successful partnership between the two companies in launching Kimpton Maa-Lai Bangkok in 2020, marking IHG's first global boutique brand debut in Southeast Asia. The upcoming hotel launch represents the second Luxury & Lifestyle brand that IHG and Siam Sindhorn are introducing in Southeast Asia and Thailand, with both hotels located within the Sindhorn Village project, spanning over 42 rai in the area of Lang Suan Road and Ton Son Alley.

Sindhorn Midtown first opened its doors in March 2020, featuring over 393 rooms. The hotel was designed by the award-winning design firm Eight Inc., which perfectly conveys elegance through inspiring art and design, blending contemporary interiors with cutting-edge technology to provide guests with warm and memorable service.

Serena Lim, Vice President of Business Development for IHG Hotels and Resorts in Southeast Asia and Korea, stated, "We are delighted and honored to expand our partnership with Siam Sindhorn and welcome Sindhorn Midtown as the first Vignette Collection hotel in Asia. This hotel is located in the heart of Bangkok's leading business, trade, and tourism district. This collaboration builds on the success of the Kimpton Maa-Lai Bangkok, which received an overwhelmingly positive response even during the COVID-19 pandemic last year. Additionally, it continues IHG's commitment to sustainable growth in Thailand and emphasizes the importance of building strong and lasting relationships with our hotel owners."

Sindhorn Midtown is a hotel with a unique design identity, featuring a modern Thai aesthetic that promises a special and unparalleled guest experience, welcoming the return of travelers. This hotel is perfectly suited to deliver an exceptional experience for both leisure and business travelers.

"We see increasing interest from hotel owners wanting to be part of the Vignette Collection, as each hotel will maintain its unique identity while being complemented by IHG's world-class standards. Furthermore, we plan to launch the second Vignette Collection hotel in Pattaya in the coming years and hope to open over 100 Vignette Collection hotels worldwide within the next decade," she added.

Chalaluck Bunnak, CEO of Siam Sindhorn Co., Ltd., said, "We have an excellent relationship with IHG and have had a great experience working with the IHG team to create the brand and successfully launch Kimpton in Southeast Asia. We immediately recognized that they are the perfect partner for Sindhorn Midtown, and we are very proud to introduce the first Vignette Collection hotel in Thailand and Asia. With a strong local team, a robust organization, and IHG's global operational system, we are confident they will lead this hotel to great success."

Sindhorn Midtown serves as the heart and soul of the Lang Suan area, becoming a gathering place for the community with comfortable and contemporary accommodations, along with unique dining and bar experiences that should not be missed. The hotel experience reflects the essence of the Vignette Collection, offering a unique and memorable experience for all guests, while also being committed to supporting the local community and surrounding areas. We are confident that Sindhorn Midtown will create excitement and satisfaction for guests seeking a hotel with a distinctive character, enhancing their special experience while being mindful of the surrounding society.

Sindhorn Midtown is conveniently located in the Lang Suan area, just a 40-minute drive from Suvarnabhumi Airport, and easily accessible to the Sukhumvit and Silom areas. All accommodations and suites in this Lang Suan area feature unique artwork from local artist Kachama Perez, along with modern amenities such as the iconic Drop™ chairs from Fritz Hansen.

Additionally, there are several renowned zones, including an impressive rooftop pool with stunning views, facilities such as three restaurants and bars, one of which is a collaboration with the Michelin-starred restaurant Saneh Jaan, a fitness center, and over 170 square meters of meeting space.

Thailand remains a strong growth market for IHG, with over 29 hotels across more than 8 brands in the country and another 34 projects in the pipeline. The Vignette Collection is the sixth brand added to IHG's portfolio in the past four years, bringing the total number of brands to 17, with over 6,000 hotels in more than 100 countries. It is the first collection brand of IHG Hotels & Resorts within the Luxury & Lifestyle portfolio, which includes Six Senses Hotels Resorts, Spas, Regent Hotels & Resorts, InterContinental Hotels & Resorts, Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants, and Hotel Indigo.
