Bangkok International Trade and Exhibition Centre (BITEC) has been awarded the Thailand MICE Venue Standard (TMVS) certification by the Thailand Convention and Exhibition Bureau (Public Organization) or TCEB. The center is committed to enhancing the quality of its event spaces in the post-COVID-19 era, focusing on hygiene and technology to become a leading MICE hub in the ASEAN region. Currently, BITEC is the first venue in Thailand with over 5,000 square meters of space to receive this certification across all event areas.

The center has aligned with TCEB's policies aimed at elevating the quality and standards of Thai MICE venues by participating in the "MICE Hygiene (2HY)" program, which sets additional hygiene and hybrid meeting standards.

The TMVS certification represents a high standard for MICE venues in Thailand, guaranteeing the quality of MICE operators in terms of venue and international standards, considering physical aspects, technology, service, and sustainable management. It also complies with ISO 22300, a security management system for meetings, seminars, and exhibitions certified by the ISO Standards Institute and the Industrial Standards Institute (ISI) of the Ministry of Industry.
