Asset World Corporation (AWC) has announced its readiness to welcome the "opening of the country" on November 1, highlighting that advance bookings at some hotels have surged over twofold. The company is set to launch the new "Courtyard by Marriott Phuket Town" to enhance tourism potential and elevate hygiene standards with SHA+ certification, ensuring customer confidence.

Asset World Corporation Public Company Limited (AWC) is responding to the government's policy to reopen the country starting November 1. The company has announced its preparedness to welcome back tourists, launching packages to accommodate this influx, resulting in some hotels experiencing over double the booking rates. This includes the opening of the Courtyard by Marriott Phuket Town, which aims to boost tourism in Phuket while enhancing safety and hygiene standards with SHA+ certification and global hotel management standards, reinforcing customer confidence for both Thai and international guests.

Na-Wallapa Traisorat, CEO and Managing Director of Asset World Corporation Public Company Limited (AWC), a real estate developer focused on comprehensive lifestyle solutions, revealed that with the country's reopening policy effective from November 1, 2021, AWC's hotels are fully prepared to welcome back tourists. All 18 hotels in the AWC portfolio have received the Amazing Thailand Safety & Health Administration (SHA+) certification, demonstrating their commitment to safety while operating under global hotel management standards. They also offer comprehensive services for document preparation and COVID-19 testing, with a strong emphasis on cleanliness, hygiene, safety, and providing an impressive travel and relaxation experience for guests.

AWC and our hotels are delighted to welcome both Thai and international customers. Following the government's announcement to reopen the country on November 1, we can fully cater to lifestyle needs. Tourists will experience a comprehensive vacation prepared by our hotels to enhance diverse experiences that meet the impressive relaxation needs of our guests. AWC has received positive signals from immediate responses, resulting in a significant increase in booking rates at some hotels in our chain, more than doubling in December 2021 compared to the pre-COVID-19 period, especially for hotels in Bangkok, Phuket, and key tourist destinations such as Wana Belle Samui and Banyan Tree Krabi. This is very encouraging for the tourism industry as it begins to thrive again, contributing to the overall economic recovery of the country, reflecting a positive outlook for the fourth quarter,” Na-Wallapa stated.

Additionally, the company is enhancing tourism potential by launching the Courtyard by Marriott Phuket Town, which will open its doors to guests and tourists on November 9. This hotel is another quality addition to AWC's portfolio, located in the heart of Phuket, the "Pearl of the Andaman," a global tourist destination situated on Thalang Road in the historical old town area, offering comfort to visitors while delivering a unique experience that beautifully blends Phuket's rich culture.

To further instill confidence among customers and tourists, all employees at AWC's hotels have been vaccinated against COVID-19. Furthermore, the retail business group has developed a master plan called "The Core 5 for Safety and Clean" to care for employees, tenants, and customers. This includes 1. Secure Screening: temperature checks for everyone entering the premises and scanning the Thai Chana application before service; 2. Social Distancing: managing crowd sizes and maintaining distance; 3. Super Hygienic Cleaning: prioritizing hygiene by cleaning frequently touched surfaces every hour and public areas every two hours; 4. Support Care Service: educating all stakeholders on hygiene to reduce infection risks; and 5. Safety Trace: maintaining a database, in addition to screening service users through the Thai Chana app, a dedicated application has also been developed.
