LPN Confident in Economic Recovery in Q4, Launches Major Campaign 'Lumpini Condo Fair' to End the Year
LPN is confident that the economy is showing positive signs in the fourth quarter as it moves forward with the launch of the major campaign 'Lumpini Condo Fair,' featuring 17 ready-to-move-in projects with discounts of up to 50%, starting at 819,000 baht. This is in line with the relaxed LTV measures aimed at achieving sales of 10 billion baht for 2021.

Mr. Opas Sripakdi, CEO and Managing Director of L.P.N. Development Public Company Limited (LPN) stated that the COVID-19 pandemic, which began in Thailand in early 2020, has continuously impacted the economy. The company believes that the situation hit its lowest point in the third quarter, as evidenced by the government's increasing relaxation of lockdown measures and preparations to reopen the country to foreign tourists on November 1. Meanwhile, the Bank of Thailand has announced measures to ease regulations on housing loans and related loans (LTV measures), allowing 100% financing for first-time homebuyers and subsequent purchases (second and third homes) from October 20, 2021, to December 31, 2022. This leads to confidence that the overall economic situation and the real estate market will improve in Q4 and continue positively into 2022.
“The COVID-19 situation has had a severe impact on the Thai people and broadly affected businesses. I believe that the third quarter was the lowest point, and in the fourth quarter, the overall outlook is expected to improve due to the wider distribution of vaccines, the easing of lockdowns, and the planned reopening of the country on November 1 for tourists from designated countries who have completed their vaccinations and can enter Thailand without quarantine. All of these are positive signs for driving the Thai economy through tourism, along with various domestic economic stimulus measures. If the situation begins to improve positively, we can be assured that next year's economy will be better than this year, starting to be visible from Q4 this year,” Mr. Opas said.
Given this trend, Mr. Opas announced the launch of the 'Lumpini Condo Fair' campaign to support the economic recovery in the final quarter of this year and provide a good option for customers. The campaign features 17 ready-to-move-in condominium projects in various locations at special prices with discounts of up to 50%, starting at just 819,000 baht, along with free transfer fees. Four of the 17 projects are eligible to participate in the 'One Million Houses' program of the Government Housing Bank (GHB) to receive special interest rates.
“This campaign is part of our goal to achieve sales of 10 billion baht and recognize revenue of 7 billion baht in 2021, after the company achieved sales of 6.3 billion baht in the first nine months, accounting for 63% of the sales target,” Mr. Opas stated.
