SF is ready to unveil the “Market Place Krungthep Kreetha,” a new landmark in the Krungthep Kreetha area, enhancing a unique shopping experience. The community mall will begin operations on October 1, 2021, under the concept of “Urban Friendly,” creating a space of happiness close to home.

SF is set to create a significant phenomenon in the Thai retail industry by launching the Market Place Krungthep Kreetha community mall in the Krungthep Kreetha area, with an investment of over 150 million baht under the “Urban Friendly” concept. This space aims to provide a different shopping experience, making customers feel like they are ‘shopping in their backyard.’ The single-story building will feature over 5,000 square meters of retail space, housing well-known brand stores, supermarkets, restaurants, and various services, all surrounded by lush greenery in the common area. It caters to the lifestyle needs of all age groups and is set to open on October 1, confident in becoming a new landmark in the Krungthep Kreetha area, boosting the potential of the eastern Bangkok location and invigorating the Thai retail business as the year-end approaches.

Mr. Nopporn Witoonchat, CEO of Siam Future Development Public Company Limited (SF), stated, “The company is moving forward to create a significant phenomenon in the Thai retail industry, preparing to open a new Community Mall under the name Market Place Krungthep Kreetha, presented through the concept of “Urban Friendly,” a space of happiness close to home. The total investment for the project is 150 million baht, aiming to become a new landmark and meeting point in the Krungthep Kreetha area, set to open on October 1, 2021. This will revitalize the Thai retail industry, valued at approximately 4 trillion baht, as we enter the important annual shopping season and the New Year festival, especially as the COVID-19 situation continues to improve with a decrease in infection rates. Additionally, with Central Pattana joining as a major shareholder, it will further strengthen SF's community mall business.”


The Market Place Krungthep Kreetha project is SF's first community mall designed to cater to the purchasing power of residents in the Krungthep Kreetha area and nearby communities, addressing the lifestyle needs of urban dwellers, including young families, retirees, and families with both children and seniors. It aims to provide a different experience from other community malls through a new presentation format, featuring a single-story structure with over 5,000 square meters of retail space.
