Mr. Somsak Saengsuwan (left), Chief Product Design Officer of Origin Property Public Company Limited, represented the company by donating 100,000 baht to the Vaccine Research and Development Fund at the Faculty of Medicine, Chulalongkorn University, to support the development of the Thai mRNA vaccine ChulaCov19 for the Thai people.

Receiving the donation was Prof. Dr. Kiat Raksrungtham (right), Executive Director of the COVID-19 Vaccine Development Project at the Vaccine Research Center, Faculty of Medicine, Chulalongkorn University. The event took place at Chulalongkorn Hospital, Thai Red Cross Society, recently.

The ChulaCov19 vaccine is the first mRNA vaccine designed and developed by Thais, receiving strong support from various sectors, including collaboration from Prof. Drew Weissman, a physician-scientist from the University of Pennsylvania, USA, who pioneered this technology globally.
