Raimon Land, a leader in luxury real estate development in Thailand, has partnered with Ascott, a global partner, to manage two projects by the Chao Phraya River: Somerset Riverside Bangkok and Lyf Riverside Bangkok. This collaboration aims to strengthen business operations and enhance project capabilities with international management, supporting the recovery of Thailand's tourism industry in the future.
Mr. Korn Narongdej, Chief Executive Officer of Raimon Land Public Company Limited (RML), a leader in luxury real estate development in Thailand, announced that the company has signed a contract with the world-renowned partner The Ascott Limited Thailand, the largest global market leader in managing service residences, to oversee two properties along the Chao Phraya River: Somerset Riverside Bangkok and Lyf Riverside Bangkok. This partnership aims to strengthen business operations and enhance project potential with international management, catering to the needs of both Thai and foreign customers seeking accommodation in a convenient riverside location surrounded by comprehensive amenities and renowned restaurants such as Lhong 1919, The Jam Factory, Asiatique, and IconSiam. Additionally, it provides easy access to Taksin Pier, the BTS Skytrain, the Gold Line, and other transport systems leading to the heart of Bangkok, including business districts, entertainment areas, and art venues.
Somerset Riverside Bangkok is a luxury service residence project with 52 units located on floors 23-27 of the luxury condominium The River on Charoen Nakhon Road.
Lyf Riverside Bangkok is a trendy accommodation that caters to the lifestyle of the millennial generation, focusing on providing guests with an exclusive experience of sharing life with others in the community. It features creatively designed communal spaces such as a co-working zone and a lounge called “Connect,” as well as a cooking area called “Bond” for residents to share. The rooms are designed for communal living, with numerous community activities that allow guests to experience authentic local culture, along with special privileges and networking opportunities. The property includes over 71 rooms on more than one rai of land adjacent to The River.
“Although the Thai tourism industry has faced challenges due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the government's policies aimed at stimulating the economy and opening the country have led to a resurgence in economic activity. We believe that the tourism industry will gradually improve, and we have developed long-term operational plans to support future recovery. We are confident in the potential of the project location along the popular bend of the Chao Phraya River, which has consistently attracted foreign customers seeking short- and long-term stays, given its proximity to business areas and comprehensive amenities. Furthermore, this collaboration with Ascott will enhance our company's capabilities by offering the best through the experience of a global partner, making these two projects stand out with luxury quality in a prime location and international management,” Mr. Korn added.
