KAILAND, Phuket Artist, Unveils New Street Art at HOMA Phuket Town
HOMA, a residential project brand under the Co-living concept, has partnered with Kailand or Jan Chaisri, a street artist from Phuket, to create a new street art installation in the heart of Phuket Town at the HOMA Phuket Town project, set to open this October.
The street art by Kailand will be featured on the Co-working space walls on the ground floor of HOMA Phuket Town. The name “Kailand” comes from the Southern Thai word “kai,” meaning “playful child,” combined with the playful character of Jan Chaisri, making this space vibrant and full of personality, akin to the artist's signature. It aims to inspire a new generation of entrepreneurs in Phuket with colorful fantasy-themed murals that tell humorous stories through adorable characters, creating an accessible art experience that will instantly bring smiles to visitors.

“I graduated in product design and ceramics, but street art is my passion. I love hanging out with friends and bringing a little love to the local community,” said Jan Chaisri.
Luca Dotti, founder and managing director of HOMA, shared his vision of integrating local artists and craftsmen into design-focused projects: “HOMA aims not only to give residents a sense of place but also to connect them with purpose, which is to engage and collaborate with the local community and create a positive social impact. Working with Kailand helps us achieve that and much more. He is inspiring, creative, and energetic. We have had a great time collaborating with him; he has truly brought the Co-working space to life. He will also be creating art for the fitness area and other zones of HOMA Phuket Town.”
HOMA Phuket Town is a new concept apartment building focused on Co-living, featuring a total of 505 units, including 1-bedroom, 2-bedroom, and 3-bedroom options. It is just steps away from Bangkok Phuket Hospital and a few minutes from the Old Town of Phuket, equipped with numerous amenities such as fine dining, a fitness center, an infinity pool on the rooftop styled like a resort, and a Co-working space on the ground floor, where Kailand has crafted the new street art for the city of Phuket.
