Nawalapa Traisorat, Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of Asset World Corp Public Company Limited (AWC), the founder of the Asset World Foundation for charity, revealed that due to the widespread COVID-19 outbreak across the country, the number of infected individuals continues to rise. The company aims to be a source of support for the Thai people to overcome the COVID-19 situation together by collaborating with government agencies and leading organizations to establish a Community Isolation Center at the AEC Trade Center, Pratunam Phra In in Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya, accommodating 200 asymptomatic COVID-19 patients under the “AWC Joins Forces to Fight COVID-19” initiative.

AWC immediately accepted and cooperated with the Phra In Subdistrict Municipality upon receiving a request to use the location for the Community Isolation Center for asymptomatic COVID-19 patients. Additionally, support was received from partners, leading organizations, and the public to provide various facilities such as paper beds, mattresses, pillows, blankets, fans, tables, chairs, and to manage the quality of life by supplying essential consumables, drinking water, and medical supplies for the patients. This establishment of the Community Isolation Center aims to address the shortage of hospital beds for treating patients and to reduce the risk of transmission within families or communities, with readiness to coordinate further transfers to hospitals or field hospitals,” Nawalapa stated.

Nawalapa further stated that due to the severe outbreak situation affecting the public nationwide, in addition to strict preventive measures against the spread of COVID-19, fostering encouragement and providing positive energy to one another is crucial. The company and its foundation are committed to planning sustainable assistance for society and communities, volunteering to alleviate the problems and initial hardships faced by fellow Thais. This initiative has received excellent responses and cooperation from numerous partners and leading organizations, and it is hoped that the COVID-19 crisis will resolve positively soon.

In light of the COVID-19 outbreak in Thailand, the Asset World Foundation remains dedicated to supporting and standing alongside the Thai people to overcome this crisis together, following the core concept of AWC Building a Better Future. The foundation aims to enhance the quality and sustainability of communities, society, and the nation. Previously, the Asset World Foundation, in collaboration with partners and leading organizations, prepared over 13,500 “Encouragement Bags” valued at over 11 million baht to provide essential consumables to various communities throughout Bangkok, focusing on vulnerable families in urgent need of assistance, including children, the elderly, disabled individuals, bedridden patients, and low-income workers in construction camps across Bangkok. Moving forward, the foundation will continue its support through various projects.
