The PARQ, a new mixed-use project aimed at developing smart office and retail spaces under the concept of Life Well Balanced, has partnered with Huawei, a leading global provider of ICT infrastructure and smart devices, to introduce Wi-Fi 6 technology. The PARQ is the first mixed-use building in Thailand to offer Wi-Fi 6 services to its users. The PARQ will provide this high-speed wireless network in retail areas, featuring more stable signals even during peak usage times, with speeds reaching up to 10.75 gigabits per second while consuming up to 30% less energy than before. This aligns with The PARQ's Life Well Balanced concept, which aims to enhance convenience for everyone’s increasingly connected lifestyle.

“For The PARQ project, we are committed to selecting the best technology that meets the highest international standards for use within the project. We are pleased to collaborate with a world-leading telecommunications company like Huawei to implement smart Wi-Fi technology. The PARQ is the first mixed-use building in Thailand to offer the most advanced Wi-Fi 6 technology to retailers, residents, and visitors. This collaboration is based on shared values, as both The PARQ and Huawei aim to provide innovative, environmentally friendly technology services to enhance the quality of life for people. Additionally, The PARQ's engineering team has closely collaborated with Huawei to ensure that this new technology will enhance convenience and meet the needs of residents and visitors effectively,” said Mr. Kamolnai Chai-chanian, Director of TCC Assets (Thailand) Co., Ltd.

“We are very pleased to be part of such a distinguished project as The PARQ. Huawei is committed to supporting and providing customers and partners with the best technology. The Wi-Fi 6 standard is one of our leading technologies that we have developed and which plays a significant role in the global industry. We believe this technology will meet the ever-changing demands of customers and help them effectively manage challenges,” said Mr. Kevin Cheng, President of the Enterprise Business Group at Huawei Technologies (Thailand) Co., Ltd.

The PARQ has been designed as a fully integrated building, utilizing a robust network infrastructure and incorporating smart innovations in every detail, including QR code usage, facial recognition, contactless visitor registration systems, and license plate recognition systems. With Wi-Fi 6 technology, this high-speed wireless network from Huawei will enhance the quality of life for retailers, residents, and visitors within the building.

The PARQ project is developed by TCC Assets (Thailand) Co., Ltd. and managed by Frasers Property Holdings (Thailand) Co., Ltd.. It pioneers the adoption of internationally recognized sustainable design standards in Thailand to enhance the creation of environmentally friendly buildings that benefit both tenants and the broader environment. Additionally, The PARQ has received Pre-WELL Certification and aims to be the first mixed-use property in Thailand to achieve both WELL and LEED Gold v4 certification, which is the latest standard for green buildings under the sustainability concept.

The PARQ project in its first phase consists of The PARQ Workplace, a Grade A office building covering 60,000 square meters, featuring column-free office space of up to 5,200 square meters, the largest in Thailand, and The PARQ Life, a premium retail space of 12,000 square meters, encompassing over 60 shops, including restaurants, retail stores, fitness centers, and health and beauty facilities, catering to the diverse needs of building users, visitors, and people in the surrounding area. The project has a total area of over 130,000 square meters with an investment value of 8 billion baht.

The PARQ recently received the Best Office Development Award at the PropertyGuru Asia Property Awards 2020 and three additional awards at the prestigious PropertyGuru Thailand Property Awards 2020, including Best Office Development Award, Best Office Green Development Award, and Best Office Architectural Design Award, along with other national accolades, including the “Special Recognition Award, Green Innovation” for the best project in green development at the Dot Property Thailand Awards 2020.
