FTE has secured 6 new projects in the private sector for the procurement and installation of fire safety systems and equipment, adding a total value of 25 million baht to its portfolio and boosting its backlog to 450 million baht. The company will commence work immediately and expects to recognize revenue within this year. In the third quarter of 2021, FTE plans to submit additional proposals for both public and private sector projects, aiming to win contracts worth over 200 million baht.

Mr. Thaksin Tantiphaichit, Managing Director of Firetrade Engineering Public Company Limited (FTE), a leader in importing and distributing comprehensive fire safety equipment and services, revealed that the company has taken on 6 new projects from private sector clients, including the Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand, industrial factories, hospitals, and shopping malls, with a total value of 25 million baht, which includes:
1. Procurement of fire safety equipment for Sri Sawat Hospital in Bangkok, the Pharmaceutical Organization's distribution center in Pathum Thani, and the CP Ram sandwich production factory in Chonburi.
2. Supply of fire foam agents for SPRC oil depot in Rayong.
3. Procurement and installation of automatic fire safety systems and fire alarm systems for Centara Grand Beach Resort in Koh Samui and Phuket.
4. Procurement and installation of sprinkler systems for 3M Thailand Co., Ltd.
5. Procurement and installation of automatic fire safety systems in kitchens and electrical rooms for Terminal 21 Rama 3 branch.
6. Contracting for maintenance of automatic fire prevention systems at 23 high-voltage substations for the Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand.

This brings the current backlog to approximately 450 million baht, with the company set to begin operations in July and to recognize revenue within this year. However, the company continues to prepare proposals for both public and private sectors. In the third quarter of 2021, it is in the process of bidding for the design and installation of fire safety systems for various projects, with expectations of securing contracts worth around 200 million baht.

“Many operators are becoming increasingly aware of safety regarding fire prevention and the selection of standard fire safety systems, as well as the regular inspection and maintenance of fire safety equipment to prevent potential fire incidents, which helps reduce property loss and danger to the lives of those residing in buildings, factories, and residences,” Mr. Thaksin stated.
