Launch of the 'Community Full of Food, Restaurants Full of Heart' Happiness Sharing Center Project
Supporting 2,000 small restaurants, delivering 240,000 food boxes to the community, generating 20 million baht in income for small restaurants, starting July 19, 2021
MQDC in collaboration with Prince Hospital Group, T&B Media Global, EEC Engineering Network, and Buddharaksa Foundation has initiated the 'Happiness Sharing Center' project 'Community Full of Food, Restaurants Full of Heart' to support small businesses and communities affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. The project aims to assist 2,000 small restaurants by providing 240,000 food boxes over a period of 4 months with a budget of 20 million baht.
The ongoing COVID-19 pandemic has impacted communities for over a year and a half, particularly during this third wave, which has led to the closure of more than 50,000 small restaurants and significant job losses. This wave has heavily affected Bangkok and its surrounding areas.

To help alleviate the suffering of the people, MQDC has partnered with Prince Healthcare Group, T&B Media Global, EEC Engineering Network, and Buddharaksa Foundation to establish the 'Happiness Sharing Center' project, delivering nutritious, freshly prepared meals in boxes sourced from small restaurants to communities affected by the COVID-19 outbreak.

This Happiness Sharing Center project will welcome small restaurants to join the network, allowing them to produce food for the community, enabling them to generate income for their livelihoods. Orders will be placed periodically based on the number of participating restaurants to ensure profitability for future investments.

Criteria for selecting participating restaurants will primarily focus on cleanliness, food quality, and environmentally friendly packaging. Selected restaurants will be allocated food box production, with the number of boxes and days depending on the volume of registered restaurants.

Small restaurants affected and communities in need can contact to join the Happiness Sharing Center project through 3 main channels starting July 19, 2021:
- Contact Call Center at 02-018-6199 every day from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
- Register via QR Code system.

At the same time, it will support approximately 2,000 small restaurants, with MQDC providing a budget of 20 million baht.
Mr. Wisit Malaisirirat, CEO of Magnolia Quality Development Corporation (MQDC) stated that the ongoing COVID-19 crisis has significantly impacted various communities, with increasing infection rates, unemployment issues, and economic challenges. During this uncertain time, many may feel hopeless and think they are fighting alone.
Magnolia Quality Development Corporation (MQDC) initiated the 'Happiness Sharing Center' to extend care and support against COVID-19. Founding partners of the project include MQDC, Prince Healthcare Group (Prince Hospital, Phitsanulok Hospital, Virachasilp Hospital, and nearby clinics), T&B Media Global (Thailand) Company Limited, EEC Engineering Network, and Buddharaksa Foundation, aiming to alleviate the suffering of communities in Bangkok and surrounding areas, which are heavily affected by the outbreak, while promoting income for small restaurants impacted by the crisis. Dr. Athiwat Noiprasit, Chief Performance Coach, Risk and Quality Officer at Prince Healthcare Group and Director of Prince Suvarnabhumi Hospital stated that currently, the hospital is caring for COVID patients in Prince Suvarnabhumi Hospital with 200 beds, 250 beds at 2 hospitels, and many patients in home isolation (green patients). Additionally, some family members considered high-risk must also isolate at home. Food, being a basic necessity, may not be as accessible as medical treatment.
Prince Suvarnabhumi Hospital, part of Prince Healthcare Group, is pleased to collaborate with MQDC, T&B Media Global (Thailand) Company Limited, EEC Engineering Network, and Buddharaksa Foundation to establish the Happiness Sharing Center to provide essential support to restaurant operators. The hospital is happy to act as a bridge to deliver assistance to COVID patients in field hospitals or those in home isolation, ensuring they receive meals without needing to go outside, delivered to their homes via mail, while still receiving daily medical care to monitor their condition through TeleHealth. If there are any changes or deterioration in symptoms, arrangements will be made for treatment or examination at the hospital. For COVID patients in home isolation, the hospital provides waste bags (red bags) to manage hazardous waste, ensuring comprehensive care and support for the general public and patients even during the COVID-19 outbreak.

Mr. Ekasit Chaleemratwong, CEO of T&B Media Global (Thailand) Company Limited expressed that T&B is pleased to share happiness through the 'Happiness Sharing Center' project 'Community Full of Food, Restaurants Full of Heart' in collaboration with MQDC, Prince Hospital Group, EEC Engineering Network, and Buddharaksa Foundation, supporting small restaurants in Bangkok and surrounding areas heavily impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic for over a year, while also helping many in the community to have enough food.
In the past, the government has had many responsibilities to address. As a private company, T&B aims to be a small part of helping society and alleviating the suffering of Thai citizens affected by the economic impact of COVID-19, organizing activities under the 'Pay It Forward' project or 'Happiness Sharing Project' by raising funds and collecting donations to provide assistance where needed, such as medical personnel, monks, workers in the field, and those affected by the economic slowdown during COVID-19, as well as animals dependent on tourism for care and well-being. Additionally, we plan to collaborate with our entertainment industry partners, including artists and actors, to further amplify awareness and accessibility of the project.
Dr. Wit Sunthornan, Vice President of Buddharaksa Foundation stated that since the COVID-19 outbreak in 2020, Buddharaksa Foundation has collaborated with individuals in society, partner organizations in both the private sector and civil society to provide assistance to those in need, whether it be essential supplies, medical equipment, or protective materials. We have witnessed the rapid spread of the virus recently, causing widespread impact, especially among low-income communities and small businesses. The foundation is very pleased that MQDC, Prince Healthcare Group, T&B Media Global (Thailand) Company Limited, and EEC Engineering Network have initiated the Happiness Sharing Center project, allowing the foundation to work with communities and small restaurant operators to distribute assistance as widely as possible.
