T&B Media Global Announces Major Collaboration with Leading Partners

in China's Entertainment Industry at the 24th Shanghai International Film Festival

June 25, 2021— T&B Media Global Group announced a partnership with major players in the Chinese entertainment and cultural industry, including Sunac Culture, Wanda Pictures, SCG Pictures, and renowned director Stanley Tong, during a press conference themed “Vibrate Happiness” at the 24th Shanghai International Film Festival on June 17, 2021, at the Super Brand Mall in Shanghai, China. This event unveiled strategies and plans for comprehensive 360-degree management and development of intellectual property (IP), along with promoting various animated film co-productions set to hit the global market soon.

T&B Media Global was founded in Thailand by Dr. Chavalwat Ariyaworarom (Dr. Tan), the creator and owner of the famous Thai animated cartoon “Shelldon,” which has aired in over 180 countries worldwide and has been translated into more than 35 languages. The company is committed to creating and developing new content and technologies while providing opportunities for talented young individuals to collaborate in producing quality content and advancing the Thai film and entertainment industry to the global market.

Due to T&B's previous relationships with partners in China, numerous works have entered the Thai market, such as the co-production of the live-action film “Vanguard,” starring Jackie Chan and co-directed by renowned director Stanley Tong, as well as the import of animated films like “Ne Zha” and “The Legend of Hei,” along with the TV series “Soul Land.” The event also featured the launch of the film “Start It Up,” a co-production with SMG Pictures & WingsMedia under the Oriental Pearl Group, a subsidiary of Shanghai Media Group, a leading entertainment company in China, which is set to be released to audiences soon. Given the continuous growth of the Chinese film and animation market, T&B will continue to collaborate with major renowned partners in the top tier of China's entertainment industry.

Partners in China's entertainment industry that T&B has signed collaboration agreements with include: Sunac Culture, one of the most watched entertainment companies in the Chinese industry, recognized as one of the top four real estate developers in China, the largest amusement park operator, and one of the largest film production and distribution companies in the country. Their latest globally recognized work is the animated film “Wish Dragon.” T&B and Sunac Culture will collaborate deeply to promote jointly developed IP into amusement parks and various products.

Wanda Pictures is a giant entertainment company with the most cinemas in China and has co-produced and distributed over 100 films, generating more than 300 billion baht in box office revenue in China. In this collaboration, T&B and Wanda Pictures aim to create quality works for the market and distribute them throughout China and globally.

SCG Pictures is a subsidiary of Shaanxi Culture Industry Investment Group, producing leading entertainment works in Shaanxi Province, and will collaborate to develop content, products, and merchandise under the concept of “Silk Road & Journey to the West,” with Shaanxi being one of the significant historical locations in China for both concepts mentioned.

And Stanley Tong, Jackie Chan's trusted director, will collaborate to create several action and animation works that blend Chinese kung fu and Thai-Chinese culture into the productions, aiming to push Asian films, culture, and works into the global market.

This partnership between leading content creators in China and T&B is just the beginning of showcasing the immense potential of the entertainment industry, as well as building confidence among investors and enhancing business collaborations with major entertainment companies from around the world in the near future.
