Mr. Zhang Zhenghui, CEO of Haier Electrical Appliances (Thailand) Co., Ltd., stated that in the fiscal year 2020, the company achieved a total revenue of 6,201 million baht, an increase of 31% compared to the same period last year. This includes 2,905 million baht from home air conditioners (up 19%), 1,175 million baht from refrigerators (up 47%), 866 million baht from washing machines (up 42%), 600 million baht from freezers (up 44%), 256 million baht from commercial air conditioners (up 1%), 190 million baht from smart TVs (up 110%), 105 million baht from water heaters (up 35%), and 103 million baht from kitchen appliances (up 296%). Online sales contributed 290 million baht, a 131% increase from last year. For 2021, the company aims for a further 37% growth, targeting total sales of 8,445 million baht.

By the end of this year, Haier plans to launch a new brand called Candy, aimed at attracting Gen Y and Gen Z customers with modern, simple designs at affordable prices, focusing exclusively on e-commerce channels. The initial product lineup will include televisions, air conditioners, washing machines, and refrigerators.

In 2021, Haier will continue to emphasize IoT Smart Home products that can be controlled and connected via mobile devices, as well as technologies that promote health and convenience, such as Self-Cleaning technology in washing machines and air conditioners, enhancing efficiency and hygiene. The new campaign strategy will be under the concept of "Smart Home Solution Provider, World’s Leading Ecosystem Brand" to meet the needs of modern consumers, highlighting innovations in Family Care that will help look after the health of every family member.

At the beginning of 2021, Haier will introduce the HRF-MD758 IoT refrigerator, an innovative product that can be controlled by voice and through the Haier Smart App, allowing Wi-Fi connectivity and direct ordering from Tops Online via the refrigerator's screen. The Mr.Hi Smart+ by Haier laundry business will feature a fully automated payment system through an app. Next year, Haier plans to continue expanding its branches, targeting 100 locations by 2022.
