Supalai Strengthens Its Team with Agile Concepts

Building a New Era Organization for Sustainable Development

Supalai Public Company Limited is implementing Agile working concepts to create a new era organization, enhancing efficiency and speed in operations, and creating differentiation to develop products and services that meet customer needs for sustainable organizational development.

Mr. Traitecha Tangmattatham, Managing Director of Supalai Public Company Limited, stated that the company has continuously established strategies for sustainable organizational development and is seeking ways to enhance efficiency and speed in team operations for sustainable development. By adopting Agile working concepts both internally and externally, the company aims to respond swiftly to changes in situations, environments, as well as customer behaviors and demands. The Agile Team system at Supalai is project-based, focusing on cross-functional teamwork, swift and clear communication, creativity, quick decision-making, effective work methods, and timely problem-solving. The result of Agile is increased efficiency and quality in work, with customer needs at the core of product and service development. The company has begun applying Agile concepts to develop condominium projects, such as the Supalai City Resort Charan 91 and Supalai Loft Sathorn - Ratchaphruek, through brainstorming, studying changing consumer behaviors, and developing design, functionality, and innovations to meet customer demands in the digital age. Additionally, Agile concepts have been applied to improve various other processes within the company, with plans to further extend these concepts in future project developments.

Mr. Kittipong Sirilaktrakul, Deputy Managing Director of High-Rise Construction, revealed that the Agile working concept adopted by the company is beneficial for all departments, especially the construction department, which has clear plans and emphasizes timely delivery. Implementing this concept in project development fosters teamwork, enhances communication, reduces unnecessary procedural steps, and delivers efficient products in a quicker timeframe to customers. Furthermore, the construction department has a waste management plan in collaboration with business partners who prioritize environmental concerns, working together to develop construction processes for condominium projects that minimize environmental impact, reduce waste disposal costs, and mitigate resource scarcity risks. For instance, using alternative packaging materials in collaboration with Wastecon Co., Ltd. and SMART BLOCK by Smart Concrete Public Company Limited, developing a base for lightweight bricks from single-use wooden pallets to plastic pallets to reduce natural resource consumption and promote recycling, thereby minimizing project waste and costs. Additionally, developing appropriately sized water pipes in collaboration with SCG pipes by Nawaplastics Industry Co., Ltd. and Thai PP-R pipes by Thai PP-R Co., Ltd., designing and producing quality water pipes of suitable lengths for projects, such as standard 4-meter pipes produced as 3-meter and 6-meter pipes to reduce waste and construction risks. The waste management strategies mentioned above have been effectively developed and applied to Supalai projects in collaboration with business partners using Agile working concepts.

The company is committed to conducting business for stable growth, delivering a good quality of life to all stakeholders, and establishing a solid foundation for sustainable organizational growth. Therefore, the Agile working concept is a new strategic approach that can respond to organizational changes and create new business opportunities swiftly and appropriately.
