J.D. Pools Outstanding Thai Innovation Franchise

J.D. Pools has met the selection criteria set by the Ministry of Commerce, winning the award for Outstanding Thai Innovation Franchise. This success is attributed to 24 years of continuous experience and ongoing investment in innovation, making it hard to replicate and securing the number one position in the Thai swimming pool market. They are hosting an open house event with the campaign "Swim First, Pay Later," offering 0% installment plans for six months on pool purchases.

According to the Department of Business Development, Ministry of Commerce, in collaboration with various organizations, the "Thailand Franchise Award 2020" was held to present awards to franchises that have developed their potential and standards. One of the recipients of the award for outstanding Thai franchises, presented by Mr. Veerasak Wangsupakijkosol, Deputy Minister of Commerce, is J.D. Pools Co., Ltd., owner of the J.D. Pools franchise, which received the award for Best Innovation Franchise.

Mr. Thanu Sak Phungdet, Managing Director of J.D. Pools Co., Ltd., revealed that the reason J.D. Pools received this award is due to its ability to meet the evaluation criteria regarding product development, service provision, and the application of innovative knowledge in production, service, and marketing, as well as having intellectual property protection.

"We have been in the franchise market for 24 years, with sales of over 16,000 pools nationwide. We have the opportunity to offer quality products and services to consumers. The swimming pools from J.D. Pools have innovative developments that differ from traditional pools, which are built with cement walls and tiles, taking 2-3 months to construct and often facing issues like leaks and tile detachment, which can be hazardous and difficult to repair, with a short lifespan. Our pools are made from durable precast concrete walls that can be constructed in just two weeks, ready for swimming, and they also reduce costs by 20-30% compared to traditional methods," Mr. Thanu Sak stated.

The innovation of J.D. Pools starts with the iPanel Liner Pool, or smart precast concrete pool, which can be designed in any shape according to imagination, without size limitations. It features a multi-layer surface system for strength and durability, preventing leaks and offering beautiful designs that resemble nature, suitable for those wanting large swimming pools. This smart wall has a patented design to prevent imitation.

The next development is the Composite Pool, a fiberglass pool technology imported from Australia and adapted into an innovation suitable for the Thai market. It uses molds to design the swimming pool shape, producing it as a ready-made product, catering to real estate developers looking to create pool villas at an economical price. It can be installed above ground or buried, or the Cadio Pool model can be introduced, which is a health pool measuring 2.2 meters wide and 3-11 meters long, targeting the middle-income housing market.

"The innovations of J.D. Pools are difficult to replicate due to the significant investment required, and we have already patented our designs," Mr. Thanu Sak added.

In addition to the pool innovations, there is also an innovative water filtration system, which was previously complicated, but J.D. Pools has simplified it, making it more convenient and cost-effective with the Compact Filter system. Furthermore, they have improved water quality management, moving from chlorine, which some people dislike due to its smell or may cause allergic reactions, to a saltwater system for health benefits, maintaining water quality without chemicals. Currently, they have developed the Mineral Swim system, using pure minerals from the Dead Sea in Israel combined with natural ozone, which not only disinfects the water but also improves skin health, providing a more relaxing experience while swimming in J.D. Pools, enhancing overall happiness.

Currently, J.D. Pools has 21 branches nationwide and 7 branches abroad (3 in Myanmar, Cambodia, Laos, India, and Morocco). Additionally, there is Pool Pro and Lab Co., Ltd., a service center for water quality management and sales of swimming pool products for both new and existing systems, with a lab for checking water quality using computer systems, which will eventually develop into a comprehensive swimming pool service center at all 21 branches nationwide.

Regarding marketing, Mr. Thanu Sak mentioned that they have focused on online strategies for the past five years. This year, despite the COVID-19 situation affecting project markets, they have seen an increase in sales in the housing market, with over 100 customers contacting them online each month. He believes this is due to several factors, such as more people staying home or working from home, increased health awareness, and Thailand's transition to a fully aging society in 2021.

The Managing Director of J.D. Pools concluded by stating that to celebrate the Best Innovation Franchise award, J.D. Pools is organizing an Open House event, allowing interested parties to experience swimming in real pools, showcasing the new pool designs and advanced innovations at all J.D. Pools branches nationwide, along with a campaign offering 0% interest on pool purchases for six months, starting at 35,000 THB/month for four popular models. They will also showcase these innovations at the Home and Garden Fair 2020 from October 30 to November 8, 2020, at Impact Muang Thong Thani.
