This initiative has once again stirred excitement as the government has approved the 'Half-Half' project, a measure similar to 'Chim Shop Chai', providing financial support for individuals aged 18 and older, with a total of 15 million slots available, each receiving 3,000 Baht, with the government covering 50% of the costs.

The conditions for the 'Half-Half' project are as follows:

- Eligible participants must be Thai citizens aged 18 and above.

- A total of 15 million slots will be available.

- Registration must be done through the website www.halfhalf.com.

- Usage will be through the Paotang app, similar to 'Chim Shop Chai' (scan when purchasing items).

- When there is 3,000 Baht in the app, purchases will receive a 50% discount from participating stores.

- Participating stores include shopping malls, local shops, street vendors, stalls, and convenience stores.

- Eligible products include general goods, excluding alcoholic beverages and cigarettes.

- The spending limit is expected to be no more than 250 Baht per day.

- The project duration is from October to December 2020.

This is just preliminary information, as the Ministry of Finance is currently working on the details, which will be presented to the CCSA for approval within two weeks. The project is expected to start in October.
