Perfect Moves Forward to Boost Sales in the Second Half of the Year with a 700 Million Baht Investment, Launching 8 New Clubhouses
Property Perfect reported that in the first half of the year, sales reached 6.2 billion baht. The outlook for the second half is promising, confident that the situation will improve compared to the first half, aiming to increase sales by another 7.8 billion baht. The company is also developing distinctive projects with 8 new clubhouses in various styles, investing 700 million baht, set to launch simultaneously on August 8. The hotel business, both domestically and in Japan, has returned to normal operations, with a lively atmosphere and increased bookings.
Mr. Wongsakorn Prasithwiphat, Managing Director of Property Perfect Public Company Limited revealed the performance of the first half of the year, stating that although the COVID-19 pandemic affected operations at the end of the first quarter and the beginning of the second quarter, the situation in the country has shown signs of improvement. The company has been able to significantly increase sales, driven by pent-up demand and customers looking to upgrade their living spaces. As a result, the company recorded total presales of 6.2 billion baht in the first half, with 72% or 4.484 billion baht coming from landed projects. For condominiums, sales reached 1.722 billion baht, with 1.29 billion baht from domestic projects and 432 million baht from projects in Japan.
“The company has set a total sales target of 14 billion baht for this year, so in the second half, there is a sales target of another 7.8 billion baht, an increase of 26% from the first half. According to the company's big data, we found that the demand for residential purchases, especially for landed projects, is still expanding. From May to early July, there has been an increase in searches for housing information, with searches for single-house projects up by 42%, while searches for condominium projects increased by 25% compared to the average of the past three years during the same period. It is expected that the overall market in the second half will be better than the first half, and the company will be able to increase sales from both domestic and international projects,”
The company continues to develop projects to stand out more, investing in the construction of “Master Club” with a total of 8 new clubhouses located in Chaengwattana, Rattanathibet, Ram Inthra-Ring Road, Ramkhamhaeng-Suvarnabhumi, Ratchaphruek-Pathum, Bangna, and Rama 5-Kanchanaphisek. This project has been underway since late last year with a total investment of 700 million baht, covering an area of 9,480 square meters, accommodating over 4,000 families. The clubhouses will feature diverse styles, complete with relaxation and exercise areas, including swimming pools, fitness centers with new equipment, aerobics, yoga, and various classes such as steam and sauna. It is anticipated that after the pandemic, most people will increasingly engage in exercise at the clubhouses, prompting the investment in developing these facilities as comprehensive centers for fitness and recreation, set to open simultaneously on August 8.
Regarding the hotel business, both in Bangkok, provincial areas, and Japan, operations have returned to normal, and the atmosphere is lively. The government's measures to support domestic tourism are expected to boost the average occupancy rate in the second half to over 50%. The group has also collaborated with business partners to create value-added voucher packages, where a 6,000 baht voucher can be redeemed for 10,000 baht, usable for room stays, dining, and spa services at 6 resort hotels. This is expected to help increase domestic tourist numbers, and customers who purchase homes and condominiums from the company within this month will also receive these voucher packages.
For the Kiroro Resort in Japan, the outlook for the second half is also positive, as the COVID-19 situation in Japan is relatively favorable. Additionally, the Hokkaido government has implemented measures to stimulate tourism starting in early July, resulting in a resurgence in travel and an increase in bookings at Kiroro, where over 50% of customers are Japanese. Furthermore, at the end of July, the Japanese government will announce measures to stimulate domestic tourism, which is expected to rapidly increase domestic travel. Kiroro also offers summer vacation packages that highlight its vast natural areas, clean air, convenient transportation, delicious food, and family activities. As for the Yu Kiroro condominium project, sales have continued to progress well, with over 80% sold, receiving positive feedback from both investors and guests, and preparations are underway for the winter season, which is the peak season.
