“Origin” showcases its sales figures for May 2020, continuing to surge to 2,400 million baht, with a cumulative total of 9,000 million baht over the first five months, reflecting a robust growth of 18% compared to the same period last year, defying market slowdowns caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. This success follows a strategic shift towards aggressive marketing, leveraging online platforms, and developing employees into Micro Influencers to enhance consumer engagement in the New Normal era, with confidence in exceeding the annual target of 21,500 million baht.

Mr. Pirapong Jaroonaek, CEO of Origin Property Public Company Limited (ORI), a comprehensive real estate developer, stated that in May 2020, the company achieved presales of approximately 2,400 million baht, an increase of over 90% compared to the same period last year. This marks a continued upward trend from April, which set a new record high of over 1,700 million baht, with 29% from housing projects and 71% from condominiums.

This resulted in a cumulative sales figure of over 4,200 million baht in the first two months of Q2 2020, maintaining levels similar to Q1 2020. Overall, in the first five months of 2020, the company recorded cumulative sales exceeding 9,000 million baht, representing an 18% increase from the previous year, with 34% from housing projects and 66% from condominiums. The company anticipates that the first half of 2020 will close with sales exceeding 10,000 million baht, accounting for over 50% of the annual target set at 21,500 million baht, indicating a strong potential to surpass the overall annual goal.

The key factors driving the company's outstanding sales growth include a proactive marketing strategy alongside an increased focus on online sales platforms, such as launching an Official Store on Shopee and Lazada, while also empowering employees to become Micro Influencers selling products through personal communication channels under the project 'Everyone can sell.'

Mr. Pirapong also mentioned that the company plans to launch 12 new residential projects in the second half of 2020, with a total value exceeding 16,700 million baht, from an annual project plan valued at 20,000 million baht. This includes approximately 10 housing projects valued at 12,100 million baht, showing significant growth from the previous year, and 4 condominium projects valued at 7,900 million baht, reflecting a ratio of 61:49 respectively. This will be the first time since the company's inception that more housing projects will be launched than condominiums in the latter half of the year.
