LPN, in collaboration with Piyamitr Company, organized the event “LPN Unites to Care for Neighbors,” donating 20,000 relief bags valued at 4 million baht to 30 neighboring communities of the project in Bangkok and Pathum Thani (Rangsit area). The plan was coordinated with various district offices to gradually deliver relief bags to citizens suffering from the economic impact of COVID-19, which has led to a decrease in income. This initiative aims to be part of the support and healing for those affected, demonstrating the company's commitment to social and environmental activities focused on sharing as it steps into its 31st year this June.

Mr. Surawut Sukjareonsin, Chief Strategy Officer of L.P.N. Development Public Company Limited (LPN), stated that “The COVID-19 pandemic has affected people worldwide, disrupting the economy and causing many businesses to halt operations. Consequently, this has led to income shortages for many individuals, impacting their livelihoods and families. LPN recognizes these hardships and has partnered with Piyamitr Company, a long-time collaborator, to organize the event “LPN Unites to Care for Neighbors,” donating 20,000 relief bags worth 4 million baht to residents in 31 communities neighboring LPN projects. We coordinated with district offices to survey those in need and worked together to ensure a safe and open environment for distribution. LPN and the district offices organized the donation process to maintain safe social distancing, requiring all participants to wear masks and sanitize their hands with alcohol gel to prevent the spread of COVID-19.”

Mr. Surawut continued, “The purpose of this event is to alleviate the burden and provide initial relief to citizens who have lost income due to their occupations. It also reflects the concern of the management team, as well as Piyamitr Company and employees, in line with our commitment to Corporate Environment and Social Responsibility (CESR), which has been a guiding principle since the company's inception. This has become a strategic framework for our business operations, based on three principles: Responsibility, Sharing, and Networking. The sense of responsibility starts with oneself, meaning being aware of conducting business responsibly (CSR-In-Process) and then sharing with the external community (CSR-After-Process) through collaboration with all stakeholders, including employees, customers, partners, etc.”

LPN is not solely focused on maximizing profits but also emphasizes giving back to society, aiming to be part of the foundation that strengthens the community as a whole. This initiative also fosters a sense of responsibility among employees to contribute to the welfare of others, expanding the circle of kindness. The relief bag distribution under the “LPN Unites to Care for Neighbors” initiative involved employees rotating to deliver relief bags across different areas, supported by the company’s encouragement for employee participation, promoting and instilling a sense of doing good. The relief bags contained essential items for daily living, including rice, dry food, and more. Additionally, the company previously donated 20,000 face shields to hospitals in need and to Bangkok's waste management staff, as well as establishing a sharing cabinet for those in distress in the Lumpini community.
