"Origin" Promotes "Britania" as the Flagship of Business in 2020, Launching New Projects Worth Over 12 Billion Baht, Establishing It as the Growth Engine of the Group
"Origin Property" accelerates its portfolio expansion in the housing development sector after continuous success, promoting "Britania" as the flagship and growth engine of the group. In 2020, the company plans to launch new projects worth 12 billion baht, accounting for 61% of the value of newly launched residential projects, introducing three new brands: Belgravia, Grand Britania, and Brighton, offering "Modern British" homes that cater to all customer segments. In the second half of the year, the company aims for a continuous growth of 20-30% in its housing development portfolio.

Mr. Pirapong Jarunek, CEO of Origin Property Public Company Limited (ORI), stated that although the Origin group started with condominium development, after three years of developing housing projects under the Britania brand, the company has gained customer trust and achieved continuous success. For instance, the Britania Srinakarin project, the first of its kind, was sold out within a year, compared to the average of 3-5 years for most housing projects. The company has been able to secure prime land and continuously double the number of new project launches each year. With the ongoing positive response, the housing development business under Britania Co., Ltd. will serve as the flagship and a key growth engine for Origin in 2020.
"In the past, Origin has succeeded in the condominium business, becoming a leader in the market with the highest number of condominium project launches. Today, we have distinctive housing products characterized by innovation, modern design, and functionality in prime locations, developed by a professional team. We are committed to creating a similar success phenomenon in the housing development business. When people think of Origin, they will not only think of condominiums but also of housing developments under the Britania brand," Mr. Pirapong added.
The company plans to launch new residential projects in 2020 to establish a sustainable growth foundation, with a total project value of approximately 20 billion baht. This includes around 10 housing projects valued at 12.1 billion baht, representing 61% of the value of new projects launched this year. This marks a significant leap in growth compared to last year, being the first year since the company's establishment that housing projects outnumber condominiums. It is expected that the total transfer of ownership from the housing business will be around 5 billion baht, accounting for 36% of the target transfer of ownership of 14 billion baht this year.
Ms. Suphalak Janpitak, CEO of Britania Co., Ltd., the housing development arm of Origin Property Public Company Limited, revealed that to enable the company to develop "Modern British" style housing projects that meet market demands across all segments, the company will launch three new brands this year:
1. Brighton - a townhome brand priced around 2-5 million baht.
2. Grand Britania - a single-house brand priced at 7-10 million baht.
3. Belgravia - a premium single-house brand priced at 10-35 million baht.
Combined with the original brand, Britania, which caters to mixed product development, including single houses, duplexes, and townhomes within the same project, priced at 3-7 million baht, the company will have four brands covering four main market segments in the housing development sector, aiming for growth to reach the top tier of the housing development business.
"In the past, our Britania brand has been a new concept in housing. We utilize the B Genius Mode concept, which includes B Smart Home Automation, B Smart Design, B Smart Home Services, and B Smart Community, ensuring our homes are equipped with functions and innovations that fully meet the needs of modern consumers. Now that we have branched into four brands, we will adapt and enhance these concepts to suit each consumer segment, allowing every consumer group to experience A Life You Love perfectly,"

At the same time, the company will be a key player in expanding Origin's business empire by developing projects that meet consumer needs in key economic provinces adjacent to Bangkok and its outskirts, marking an entry into new blue ocean markets with a business model that understands customers, such as Nakhon Pathom, Samut Songkhram, Samut Sakhon, Chachoengsao, Chonburi, and Rayong. In the second half of the year, the company plans to enter new markets and ensure that Origin has housing projects in 10 key provinces by the end of the year.

The company has already launched two new projects in the first half of the year, with a total project value of 3.3 billion baht, including 1. Grand Britania Ramintra Ring Road valued at 1.9 billion baht.
2. Britania Sai Mai valued at 1.4 billion baht. For the remaining eight projects, with a total value of 8.8 billion baht, they will be gradually launched in the second half of the year. In the coming years, the company aims to increase new project launches by at least 20-30% of the value of projects launched in the previous year.

Since launching its first project in late 2017, the Origin Property group under Britania Co., Ltd. has developed a total of 7 housing projects with a combined project value of 9.767 billion baht. If the company launches an additional 10 projects as planned this year, the total value of accumulated housing projects will exceed 21 billion baht.
