Decoding True Health: 'SENA-AZU Rama 9' Through Health-Conscious Condos Responding to the New Normal of Thai People
The COVID-19 crisis that has spread globally has created a new behavioral pattern in the lifestyle of consumers. “Sena Hankyu Hanshin” has launched a new concept condominium “SENA-AZU RAMA 9” that reflects the idea of creating living spaces for good health, Stay Healthy Today & Tomorrow, addressing the needs of consumers who are increasingly concerned about health and quality of life.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Kesara Thanyalakphak, Deputy CEO of Sena Development Public Company Limited (SENA), revealed that the emergency decree effective from March 26, which resembled a semi-lockdown, aimed to encourage social distancing and avoid public places, significantly impacted many businesses. It is undeniable that the real estate sector is a crucial chain driving economic growth (GDP). However, it must be acknowledged that the crisis has drastically changed many behaviors of people. For instance, the once congested roads have become clear, allowing more time for exercise after work, as gyms are closed. It is anticipated that after the COVID crisis, new consumer behaviors will emerge in society, referred to as the 'New Normal'.
Similarly, consumer behavior in choosing residences post-COVID may establish a new standard for consumers. Beyond location and price, consumers will increasingly consider condos that address Anti-COVID measures and prioritize health. The project SENA - AZU Rama 9 is designed to cater to health-conscious individuals under the concept of Stay Healthy Today & Tomorrow. Importantly, it collaborates with leading partners such as Bangkok Hospital and FIT Thailand to enhance the quality of life and living for health enthusiasts (Healthy Service Designed). Bangkok Hospital offers special privileges, including a Biovitality Value Gold membership card, health check-up packages, treatment discounts, emergency ambulance services, and organizes special activities with medical experts to provide nutrition and health care knowledge to residents. Meanwhile, FIT Thailand conducts exclusive workshops on exercise and holistic health care led by certified professional trainers, enabling residents to easily exercise on their own, both passively and actively, promoting their health and well-being.

SENA - AZU Rama 9 is developed as an 8-story condominium with 3 buildings on over 8 rai of land, comprising 574 units, including 1-bedroom (Extra) units sized 32 – 33 sq.m., 1-bedroom (Living Plus) units sized 44 – 45.5 sq.m., 1-bedroom (Bed Plus) units sized 44 sq.m., and 2-bedroom units sized 51.5 – 55 sq.m. It features a 4-rai common area designed for exercise for all ages and includes various highlights as follows:
Healthy Unit Design incorporates the Geo fit+ concept from partner Hankyu Hanshin, combined with the Made from her concept, focusing on detail to develop products and services that create residences meeting all living needs. The units are designed with spacious layouts, separating living rooms, bedrooms, and working spaces for privacy, adaptable to lifestyles while ensuring social distancing to protect oneself and loved ones.
Healthy Facility brings a park-like atmosphere with a 570-meter jogging track amidst green gardens, encouraging exercise, a 55-meter saltwater swimming pool with Aqua Therapy, Lap Pool, and Jacuzzi Pool for swimming workouts, a large clubhouse separate from the residences, and fully equipped health facilities such as a fitness center with garden views, relaxation areas with sauna and steam rooms to stimulate blood circulation, and a co-working space for private work, meeting rooms, and a co-kitchen area for cooking. The project also features a large green area in the center, emphasizing the planting of large trees to absorb carbon dioxide for fresh air, along with landscaped zones designed for various activities while maintaining social distancing.
Healthy Living offers after-sales services through the SENA 360 application, 24-hour concierge service for residents, and My Maid for quality cleaning services. Additionally, there is a 70% parking space ratio with a separate parking building from the residences, focusing on quality of life.
Healthy Location is situated on Rama 9, conveniently located near the interchange between the Blue and Orange subway lines (Cultural Center - Min Buri) at the Cultural Center Station, close to Golden Place, medical clinics, Bangkok Hospital, and Thai-Japanese schools, including Regent’s International School. Furthermore, the project's location avoids pollution, dust issues, and excessive noise disturbances.
