The Ministry of Education has announced that all public and private schools, both regulated and unregulated, are to commence the school term on July 1, 2020.

Mr. Natthaphon Teepsuwan, the Minister of Education, signed the announcement on April 9, 2020, regarding the reopening of educational institutions under the Ministry of Education's jurisdiction. The directive states that all public and private educational institutions, both regulated and unregulated, must start classes on July 1, 2020. Meanwhile, international private schools, which have different academic calendars, are allowed to begin classes as deemed appropriate.
