AP Thailand Group, a leader in real estate development, under the mission EMPOWER LIVING, aims to fulfill every life goal with valuable and meaningful products and services. The Empower Thai initiative unites efforts to navigate through the COVID-19 crisis with the social campaign #SAVEDoctorsSAVEThailand, kicking off with a donation of 3 million baht. The campaign will provide 1,120 pieces of 3M N95 masks to frontline medical teams and encourage social contributions for medical supplies through 19 government agencies to procure safety equipment for healthcare personnel and life-saving devices for patients. Additionally, in collaboration with Central Pattana Public Company Limited, they will deliver 'care packages' to the dedicated medical personnel to ensure Thailand can safely overcome the COVID-19 crisis together.

Mr. Witakarn Chantawimon, Deputy Managing Director of Corporate Strategy and Innovation at AP (Thailand) Public Company Limited, stated, “In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, our company has developed a business continuity plan, cash flow management, and strategies to care for our customers and employees to the best of our ability. In the social dimension, we are ready to empower everyone in society to unite through this COVID-19 crisis with the campaign #SAVEDoctorsSAVEThailand. We have initiated the campaign with a donation of 3 million baht to support the purchase of safety equipment for Thai medical personnel and life-saving devices for COVID-19 patients through the Ramathibodi Foundation, Rajavithi Foundation, Chulalongkorn Hospital, Bamrasnaradura Institute, Thammasat University Hospital, and Siriraj Foundation. Amid concerns about importing N95 masks from abroad and the campaign encouraging the public to wear cloth masks, we have delivered 1,120 pieces of 3M N95 masks to Ramathibodi Hospital, received by the hospital's deputy director, to bolster the medical team's resources.”

Furthermore, the company utilizes its large online community on social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and Line Official, with over 2.4 million followers, to disseminate information about 19 donation channels from government agencies in Bangkok and other provinces. They invite Thai people, even while working from home, to join forces in donating and supporting the 'white coat warriors'—the dedicated medical personnel—so that Thailand can safely navigate through the COVID-19 crisis together. They also collaborate with Central Pattana Public Company Limited and over 20 partner companies to create 'care packages' containing dry food and essential items to be delivered to doctors and medical personnel.

“The ongoing pandemic has undoubtedly impacted many business sectors, including consumer confidence. The measures announced by the government aim to minimize damage to the country. The private sector is ready to be part of the solution by offering assistance to the best of its ability. I invite all Thai people to contribute to medical donations, as we have compiled donation channels from 19 government agencies in Bangkok and provincial cities that are on the front lines of this crisis. The Thai saying 'give what you can' remains applicable in every situation. Even just sharing donation information from AP Thai's social media is a form of help. Lastly, I encourage everyone to use cloth masks and donate surgical masks to medical personnel who need them more than we do,” Mr. Witakarn concluded.
