Mr. Siripong Somboon, Managing Director of D-Land Group Co., Ltd., a leader in real estate development in the southern Bangkok area, Rama 2 - Samut Sakhon, the eastern zone, and the western side of Bangkok, revealed that the Covid-19 outbreak, along with various internal and external factors currently affecting the country, has significantly impacted the confidence of Thai people. In this challenging situation, the company continues to build confidence and care for customers and society by implementing strict safety measures to protect employees, customers, and the surrounding community simultaneously to prevent the spread of the Covid-19 virus. The company has established the following control measures:
1. Providing hand sanitizer stations at the office entrance and requiring employees to wash their hands before entering the office each time.
2. Setting up body temperature screening points at the office entrance; anyone with a temperature exceeding 37.5 degrees Celsius will not be allowed to enter the office premises.
3. Distributing face masks to all employees.
4. Cleaning frequently touched surfaces every 2 hours with disinfectant alcohol.
5. Canceling meetings, training sessions, seminars, or any activities both internally and externally with more than 30 participants.
6. Requiring external individuals, including customers, construction contractors, and suppliers, who come to the office to comply with the same preventive measures.
7. Establishing a task force to prevent the spread of the Covid-19 virus, with a committee responsible for monitoring the outbreak situation and determining measures to protect employees.
8. Disinfecting the headquarters and sales offices of all model homes.
9. Allowing headquarters employees to work from home.

Additionally, D-Land is also concerned about and committed to society in the fight against the Covid-19 virus by donating 600 sets of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to medical personnel at Samut Sakhon Hospital to reduce the risk of exposure to the virus and enhance the safety of staff operations, with Dr. Anukoon Thaitanan receiving the donation.

During the second quarter of 2020, the company continues to organize marketing activities to promote sales and believes that the Covid-19 outbreak situation in Thailand will soon improve, expecting that by the third quarter of 2020, the situation can be controlled and adapted, allowing for recovery in the second half of the year.

Therefore, what needs to be considered at this time is managing operations to maintain liquidity and ensuring that marketing campaigns provide maximum benefits to customers to build confidence, as well as special care for customer loan applications, Mr. Siripong concluded.
