The One Bangkok project, developed by a joint venture between TCC Assets (Thailand) Co., Ltd. and Frasers Property Holdings (Thailand), along with SCG and project partners including KCS and Associates Co., Ltd., Stonehenge International Public Company Limited, and Italian-Thai Development Public Company Limited, announced the successful concrete pour for the largest foundations in Southeast Asia's history for the office building within the One Bangkok project, utilizing over 547 concrete trucks, totaling 23,725 cubic meters at the site of this world-class landmark set to open in 2023.
The concrete pouring for the foundations of one of the buildings in the One Bangkok project took a continuous operation of 33 hours and 15 minutes, using over 2,200 tons of reinforcing steel to support a 4.5-meter thick foundation for a 170-meter tall office building, which will be one of the first buildings ready for tenants in 2023. Additionally, special low-heat concrete was used, capable of withstanding a compressive strength of up to 600 kilograms per square centimeter, allowing it to bear more weight than the foundation concrete of Burj Khalifa, the tallest building in the world.

The collaboration between the One Bangkok project, SCG, and various business partners in organizing the concrete delivery system efficiently, along with continuous cleanliness measures, ensures that the construction area and its surroundings remain orderly while considering the environment and the community. This includes washing all vehicles before leaving the project, regularly cleaning the surrounding roads and sidewalks, installing dust suppression systems around the project, and establishing sensors to monitor air quality and noise levels both inside and outside the project.
This monumental concrete pour for the region's largest foundation reflects One Bangkok's commitment to setting new standards in design, living, and sustainability, both in Thailand and the region, by utilizing cutting-edge industry knowledge combined with professional experience from various partners. Thus, One Bangkok is recognized as the largest real estate development project in Thailand's history, poised to elevate Thailand's prominence on the global stage and grow as a strong ASEAN nation.
