"DCON" has opened a comprehensive precast factory, importing the latest technology "Vollert" from Germany, aiming to expand its construction materials line to meet the needs of partners and consumers. The company expects to start recognizing revenue in March, contributing 10% to the total revenue portfolio, with plans to increase production capacity.

      Mr. Witthawat Phorakun, CEO of DCON Products Public Company Limited (DCON), a construction materials manufacturer and real estate developer, stated that after constructing a new factory in Lam Luk Ka, Klong 12, the company will have its subsidiary, DSC Products Co., Ltd., proceed with the precast wall factory business comprehensively, including design, production, and installation, to meet the demands of partners and consumers. The focus will be on targeting property developers and medium to large contractors who do not yet have their own precast factories.

“We have imported the latest automation technology machinery, "Vollert" from Germany, which includes technology that helps verify accuracy and precision, ensuring that our precast concrete walls, both Bearing Wall and Partition types, are of high quality and precision. This speeds up construction on-site, reduces labor costs, shortens working time, and keeps the construction site cleaner. Additionally, the company has a team of engineers overseeing design, production, and installation, which we believe will provide our target customers with a more comprehensive range of quality construction materials,” Mr. Witthawat said.

        Currently, the company already has customers ready to support full production capacity. After commencing full production on January 15, 2020, the company expects to start recognizing revenue around March, making the precast factory business a revenue contributor of approximately 10% of the total revenue across the group.

        In addition to the strength in traditional construction materials, the company continues to explore new opportunities to enhance services that meet the needs of both property developers and construction contractors, such as looking for the right timing to produce hollow hexagonal piles and increasing the production capacity of the precast factory.
