Bangkok (July 11, 2019) – AP Thailand, a leading real estate developer and pioneer in creating a blueprint for a better quality of life for everyone in society, under the vision “AP WORLD, A Vision for Quality of Life,” led by Mr. Witakarn Janthawimon, Deputy Managing Director of Corporate Strategy and Innovation, in collaboration with SEAC (Southeast Asia Center for Lifelong Learning), has opened a new world of learning with ‘YourNextU,’ an innovative design aimed at disrupting education for the first time globally, for 40 interns of the AP Open House 2019 project (4th edition). Students can enroll in life skills development programs and new knowledge without limits, such as Design Thinking, Outward Mindset, and Self-Leadership. Students who meet the requirements will have the opportunity to receive international certificates from renowned institutions such as Stanford University, The Arbinger Institute, and The Ken Blanchard Companies, serving as a bridge to advance their careers and prepare them to be quality personnel in the Thai industry, ready to face comprehensive changes.

Mr. Witakarn Janthawimon stated, “AP continues to develop a new generation of real estate professionals to enhance the potential of human resources in the Thai industry, making them a crucial part of driving business and contributing to a better quality of life for people in society. The uniqueness of the internship program in the AP Open House 2019 project, in addition to specialized courses in engineering and marketing, is that AP Thailand recognizes the importance of creating new knowledge to keep pace with the Digital Disruption, where knowledge and skills can quickly become outdated. By collaborating with SEAC, we bring YourNextU, an endless learning innovation accessible anytime, anywhere, revolutionizing traditional learning for the AP Open House participants at no cost, allowing them to experience a new dimension of learning beyond the classroom. We hope that over 300 courses from around the world, especially those from leading universities like Stanford, will enhance their thinking processes for long-term application.”

Ms. Niphatra Tangpachotthaveepol, Executive Director of SEAC, said, “SEAC aims to create and design learning innovations that respond to the lifestyle and learning styles of people of all ages. We are very pleased that AP recognizes the importance of education, and SEAC is ready to be part of empowering the new generation to be quality professionals, not just focusing on academics but also on learning additional life skills. In the program, students will learn in various formats from over 300 courses.”

Mr. Pasurat Trairat, a representative of civil engineering students from Kasetsart University, expressed, “I am very happy to have the opportunity to learn through the YourNextU program, which is accessible at all times and offers diverse learning formats, including online classes or social learning. It is an innovation that meets the lifestyle of the new generation very well. Today, I attended a class on Emotional Intelligence, which is very beneficial as it helped me understand my strengths and weaknesses to improve in every aspect throughout my life. The internship at AP has truly enhanced my experience.”

Ms. Suphanit Sittikarn, a representative of marketing and sales students from Prince of Songkla University, stated, “I am very pleased to have access to a global self-development program, which is a great opportunity for my future career. I would like to thank AP for providing equal opportunities for all students. The AP Open House teaches us to learn how to work with others, encouraging us to express our opinions and fostering good friendships with peers in the project, unlike traditional classroom learning we have experienced.”

The internship program of AP Open House 2019 this year is even more special as it provides access to a new learning format with YourNextU for free. The difference lies in being a World-Class Education Service with a Learning Buffet Model, allowing students to learn endlessly and repeat classes without limits with over 300 world-class courses. In addition to specialized internship courses in the real estate business, such as civil engineering and marketing, AP Academy has intensified its curriculum. Upon completion of the project, students will receive a certificate from AP Academy, and the top 4 students with outstanding internship performance will have the opportunity to study and observe at Mitsubishi Estate Residence in Japan, a leading comprehensive real estate development company and business partner of AP, to learn work practices beyond what they have learned from experts in Thailand.

AP Open House is an opportunity for students to train and learn real work processes, aiming to apply knowledge and theory to real work situations and learn to collaborate with others, gaining valuable experiences and friendships among AP team members and fellow aspiring engineers, marketers, and salespeople in Thailand.

YourNextU is a lifelong learning community accessible to everyone, anytime, anywhere, akin to an innovation and ecosystem of learning that SEAC has intentionally created and designed to respond to the changing world, lifestyle, and learning styles of people of all ages, breaking down all barriers to ensure everyone has the opportunity to access the highest quality learning at an affordable price.
