Bangkok (June 28, 2019) – Today, Scope Co., Ltd., a real estate development company focused on designing and constructing premium quality residences to international standards, announced the launch of sales for the luxurious condominium “Scope Lang Suan.” On this occasion, “Thomas Juul-Hansen,” the designer who oversees the interior design of “Scope Lang Suan,” has traveled from New York to Thailand to meet and present the design concepts for the project to clients personally. The project’s show unit will be open for viewing starting July 17, 2019.

Mr. Yongyuth Chaipromprasit, CEO of Scope Co., Ltd., a long-time expert in innovative real estate development, stated, “Scope Lang Suan sets a new standard as a distinctive residential project in Bangkok. The concept of the project combines the highest international standards, world-class design excellence, and the pinnacle of one of the best locations in the heart of Bangkok. “Scope Lang Suan” is situated on the most expensive freehold land sold in Thailand in 2018, priced at 3.1 million baht per square wah. The project consists of 158 residential units in a 34-story building, just 140 meters from the Chidlom BTS station, with a project value exceeding 8.4 billion baht.”

Scope Lang Suan is the first project in Thailand by “Thomas Juul-Hansen,” a Danish designer known for designing the interior of New York's most expensive residential building, ONE57, nicknamed “The Billionaire Building,” which had the highest-priced residential units in New York as of early this year, with a selling price of 3.14 billion baht (100.5 million USD). This building was also the tallest residential building in New York City when it was launched in 2014.

Mr. Yongyuth stated, “We are a new kind of residential developer breaking away from traditional residential development patterns, focusing on designing and constructing premium quality residences to international standards. We aim to create projects for a new generation of clients seeking residences with design and construction quality on par with the best properties in New York or London. Therefore, we collaborate with the best partners in the world, like Thomas Juul-Hansen.”

Mr. Yongyuth further stated that the company has invested a historically high amount in design for this size of residential building in Bangkok  because “We understand that ultimate comfort, functionality, and excellent taste in residences must be designed correctly from the outset and in every dimension of the home, even the smallest details. If the entire design and construction are executed perfectly, this home will undoubtedly appreciate in value over time.”

Mr. Yongyuth added, “Today’s consumers have changed. This new group of clients no longer views luxury merely as the use of expensive materials. Instead, they see luxury as the ‘quality of thought’ integrated into the exceptional design process and the appropriate selection of premium materials. For this group of clients, luxury does not mean gold faucets or gold door handles; what they seek is outstanding design, spacious simplicity, functionality, good taste, and meticulous attention to detail, aiming to create a home that enhances the happiness and quality of life of its residents.”

Mr. Yongyuth also mentioned that Scope has collaborated with one of the world’s most acclaimed design firms, ‘Kohn Pedersen Fox’ (KPF), from New York, which designed the World Financial Centre, the iconic building in Shanghai, the International Commerce Centre, the tallest and most prominent building in Hong Kong, the Lotte World Tower, the tallest building in South Korea at 123 stories, and Hudson Yards in New York, the largest private real estate development project in the United States, to provide design consulting for “Scope Lang Suan.”

Scope Lang Suan is located on one of the most valuable freehold lands in Bangkok, combining the best of location with excellent urban center access, the best shopping and lifestyle destinations in Southeast Asia, and Ploenchit Road, which is the most important retail street in Bangkok, all within a 2-minute walk. Residents can conveniently walk from Scope Lang Suan to Central Chidlom, Central Embassy, Gaysorn Village, CentralWorld, Siam Paragon, and Siam Center, with a skywalk almost covering the entire distance. The BTS system is accessible within just a 2-minute walk, 140 meters away, and it is also close to Bangkok's largest public park, Lumpini Park, which is directly accessible via a jogging path.

“Scope Lang Suan” is scheduled for completion in early 2023, with prices starting at approximately 38 million baht up to 250 million baht, featuring 1-bedroom units of about 83 square meters, 2-bedroom units ranging from 153 to 162 square meters, and penthouses from 419 to 443 square meters, with all units offering ceiling heights of up to 3.5 meters and penthouses with ceilings up to 4 meters, complete with floor-to-ceiling windows in every room and private lobby elevators.
