In the past decade, "Khon Kaen" has initiated numerous projects to drive the city as a center for development and as a starting point and model for new creative initiatives in the Isan region, leveraging support mechanisms from various sectors to collaborate with the private sector in developing innovations for urban development

 

A prominent collaboration in Khon Kaen at this time is the development of public transportation systems within the province through the "Khon Kaen City Bus" and the construction project of the "Khon Kaen LRT" light rail, aimed at enhancing access to and utilization of transportation infrastructure. Whether Khon Kaen will become a model and inspiration for other cities remains to be seen
