(January 8, 2019: Bangkok) The NEXT Real course is now accepting applications for Classes 7 and 8, emphasizing "Experience Sharing" by bringing in leading real estate experts to share their invaluable experiences without reservation. The aim is to assist professionals in the Real Estate Ecosystem, regardless of age or business type, primarily targeting business owners and senior executives to prepare for the future of the industry. It is anticipated that the real estate market in 2019 will enter a period of slowdown, advising participants to focus on selling products that meet real demand while seeking knowledge to navigate the situation.



 

          Assoc. Prof. Dr. Boonsom Lerdhirunwong, President of Shinawatra University, stated that the university has launched a course for genuine real estate developers named “The NEXT Real”. This four-month program aims to cultivate knowledge, perspectives, and business skills for entrepreneurs in the real estate sector through experience sharing from top instructors, focusing on insights beyond textbooks. In 2019, applications are open for Classes 7 and 8, with Class 7 accepting applications until February 8, 2019, and Class 8 until July 26, 2019.


 

          “In the past six classes, participants from various age groups in the real estate sector across the country have joined, with over 50% being aged between 35 and 50 years. The oldest participant was 65 years old, representing various businesses in the real estate field, primarily consisting of business owners and senior executives, totaling over 700 individuals. This underscores that knowledge and experience are essential for everyone, regardless of age or profession, especially in an era of rapid change,” Assoc. Prof. Dr. Boonsom remarked.

 

          Mr. Borisud Kasinpila, Director of The NEXT Real Course and CEO of Home Buyers Guide Co., Ltd., stated that the strength of The NEXT Real lies in having leading real estate developers, who are the "real deal" in the industry, sharing both their successes and failures in ways that cannot be found elsewhere. These experiences will serve as shortcuts for participants to apply in their own businesses.

          Mr. Anant Asavabhokhin, Founder of The NEXT Real Course, mentioned that every 8 to 10 years, the real estate business enters a period of slowdown. The year 2019 is expected to be a year of slowdown due to various factors, such as stricter lending policies from financial institutions (Post-finance), a slowdown in foreign buyer markets, and stagnant domestic purchasing power over the past few years. The condominium market is showing signs of oversupply in certain locations and a slower absorption rate than before.

 

 

          “This is something we need to be aware of, but there’s no need to panic because these situations are not new; they are part of a "cycle." What’s important for entrepreneurs is to know how to adapt, how to pivot, and to develop and sell products that truly meet market demands.           For the The NEXT Real course, applications are open for four groups: 1. Real estate developers 60%, 2. Businesses related to real estate 20%, 3. Landowners looking to develop or Pre-developers 10%, and 4. General interested individuals 10%. Class 7 will meet every Friday from March to June 2019, while Class 8 will meet every Friday from August to November 2019. Both classes will have opportunities to visit leading real estate companies in Thailand and participate in various activities with the network of The NEXT Real students from across the country, all of whom are part of the Real Estate Ecosystem.
