Supalai Public Company Limited is advancing its sustainability mission through the 'Forest of Happiness' project, now in its 5th consecutive year. The initiative aims to increase green spaces, restore ecosystems, and create a balance between real estate development and environmental care. Led by Mr. Traitecha Tangmattatham, Managing Director of Supalai Public Company Limited, along with executives and volunteer employees, the company participated in tree planting activities to create green areas and promote a better environment for the community. This year, the company is planting trees near the Supalai Monthala @Phutthamonthon project on over 25 rai of land, systematically preparing and improving the soil to support the planting of more than 2,000 trees, aiming to increase green spaces, reduce air pollution, and enhance long-term carbon dioxide absorption capacity.

The Supalai Creates Good 'Forest of Happiness' project operates under the concept of organizational growth alongside environmental and social care. Over the past five years, Supalai has expanded green spaces in several provinces across the country, covering a total area of over 80 rai and planting more than 12,000 trees. With this year's activities, the total number of trees planted will exceed 14,000 trees, which will help reduce carbon dioxide emissions by over 1,400 tons of CO2 equivalent (*the tree planting and forest project has a carbon credit calculation period of 10 years), while also contributing to ecosystem restoration, enhancing biodiversity, and providing long-term benefits to the community. This reflects Supalai's commitment to driving its environmental mission and sustainable development.

This year, the company has selected four tree species for planting: Gangkra, Water Hyacinth, Sandpaper Tree, and Neem, which are suitable for the area and conducive to ecosystem restoration. A comprehensive tree care system has been established, including preparing planting holes according to standards, installing drip irrigation systems and water pumps to enhance survival rates and promote effective tree growth.

The 'Forest of Happiness' project not only aims to increase the number of trees or green spaces but also serves as a means to create shared value among organizations, communities, and the environment through the participation of volunteer employees and ongoing care for the area, ensuring that green spaces can grow and benefit the community in the long term.
