- Sansiri is moving forward with the concrete kickoff of 'Learn Space', a comprehensive specialty coffee learning center covering over 21 rai in the district of Kalyanivathana, Chiang Mai.
- Workshops are organized to enhance the knowledge of Thai farmers at Sanshai Farm (upstream) alongside nurturing and changing the perspectives of the new generation at Siri Campus (downstream).
- The aim is to create a perfect ecosystem for social enterprises, a crucial cog in caring for the ecosystem, preserving biodiversity, and revitalizing upstream forests while driving community economies to grow and progress sustainably together.
Sansiri Public Company Limited is reflecting significant achievements in ESG by launching the 'Learn Space' (Specialty Coffee Learning Centre), a comprehensive specialty coffee learning center on over 21 rai in Kalyanivathana, Chiang Mai, aiming to create an ecosystem of a non-profit social enterprise model that allows the project to be self-sustaining and return all profits to community development in a tangible way.

Mr. Samatcha Phromsiri, Chief of Staff at Sansiri Public Company Limited revealed that Sansiri has collaborated with Sanshai Beans Coffee Roaster and the Thai Specialty Coffee Association to drive 'Learn Space' as an opportunity area to elevate the value chain of Thai specialty coffee. Recently, they have initiated a connection of values from upstream to downstream through workshops in two key areas, including: Upstream at Sanshai Farm, Chiang Mai aiming to enhance the skills of Thai farmers to become professional specialty coffee producers, with Sanshai Jupao sharing in-depth knowledge from post-harvest management, soil analysis, and delivering the 'Serina' variety to promote specialty coffee cultivation as an economic crop that grows alongside the restoration of upstream forest ecosystems. Next is: Downstream at Siri Campus, Bangkok which nurtures the potential of the new generation through the SANSIRI ALPHA INTERNSHIP PROGRAM in collaboration with Borirak Apikantikul, project advisor, creating a specialty coffee classroom to study cupping skills and coffee brewing, aiming to spark awareness among the new generation about the value and lifestyle of the farmers behind every cup of coffee.

Additionally, Mr. Borirak Apikantikul, project advisor and expert from the Thai Specialty Coffee Association added that the core of this project is to deliver standards and the science of Specialty Coffee systematically, where the skills and correct understanding of every detail will be a crucial driving force in elevating the Thai specialty coffee industry to grow robustly and reach the international stage.
The ultimate goal of 'Learn Space' is to create a living ecosystem to connect the knowledge of Thai specialty coffee from the upstream community lifestyle to the downstream, on a total area of over 21 rai in Kalyanivathana, Chiang Mai, divided into two parts: an area for the specialty coffee learning center to serve as a knowledge exchange space alongside a trial coffee cultivation plot that gathers top-quality varieties to sustainably elevate farmers' incomes while nurturing the forest and upstream ecosystem.

The aim is to achieve within 5 years (2026–2030) the goal of becoming a 'Model Center' that connects the complete value chain from cultivation, processing, product development with the community, creating a fair market system, as well as nurturing new farmers and entrepreneurs to elevate the Thai specialty coffee industry to Asian and global standards, using quality and sustainability as the core in restoring upstream forests, creating stable income, and providing opportunities for the new generation to truly return and build a future on their homeland.
