COTTO, a leading brand of tiles and sanitary ware in Thailand and the ASEAN region, continues to aggressively penetrate the decorative materials market by expanding its 'Surface Materials' product line to cover over 10 categories, managing comprehensive decoration projects. Meanwhile, the sanitary ware segment remains focused on innovative trend development, launching new series that reinforce the brand's strength, reflecting meticulous management and production processes from start to finish, with a manufacturing base in Thailand that meets numerous domestic and international standards and awards, all while being environmentally sustainable.

Mr. Thanongchai Asavinchaiyachot, Managing Director of SCG Ceramics Public Company Limited and Siam Sanitary Ware Industry Co., Ltd., revealed the direction of success, stating that last year the company experienced continuous growth across all product business groups, including COTTO BATHROOM (sanitary ware) and COTTO THE SURFACE (surface materials), reflecting consumer confidence in the brand. "The key factors that have sustained our long-standing market dominance in tiles and sanitary ware are our 'reliability' and 'attention to detail' in every production step, alongside our commitment to 'environmental care.' COTTO continuously develops and presents products with innovative differences, such as the SMART product group like the KLIRR Collection Smart Edition and the newly launched automatic sanitary ware this year, including the SENSIS and SILN Series, as well as the 'Surface Materials' group focusing on HVA (High Value Added Products). At the same time, we are promoting SVP (Smart Value Products) that emphasize quality products at reasonable prices to provide options for modern consumers with diverse needs, while enhancing new design perspectives amid rapidly changing global trends.

As a further testament in 2026, the company remains committed to meticulously producing products in both aforementioned groups while expanding a comprehensive portfolio. In addition to presenting innovations and launching new series in the 'sanitary ware' category, it will also add 10 more types of 'surface materials' covering Tile, Vinyl Tile (SPC), Wood, Clay Decor, Stone Décor, Worktop, Mosaic, Grout, as well as Door & Window and Bathroom Furniture, targeting new-generation architects and designers who emphasize using surface materials that align with their design work, creating unique outputs with meticulous selection of 'decorative materials' into 'design work' seamlessly, focusing on both functionality and beautiful, practical design.

Regarding brand communication strategies this year, COTTO has showcased products from both COTTO THE SURFACE and COTTO BATHROOM in two areas at the Architect'69 event at Impact Challenger, Muang Thong Thani, with a highlighted area at the COTTO LiFE showroom in Don Mueang from April 28 to May 3, 2026.
The COTTO THE SURFACE group will present the 10 types of surface materials organized into '5 CURATIONS' under the concept 'REFINED / FLOW,' reflecting the seamless connection between 'materials' and 'design,' conveyed through the perspectives of '3 CURATORS' or three leading architects: PHTAA, IDIN Architects, and stu/D/O Architects, who interpret the brief in their unique ways in real spaces, such as Specialty Café (Matcha room), Wellness Space, and Bathroom and More. In addition to the aesthetic dimension of beautiful design, there is also an awareness of using environmentally friendly materials, reflecting the development of quality products alongside environmental responsibility.
For COTTO BATHROOM, this year is set to launch 'SENSIS,' the automatic sanitary ware of the era, distinguished by its Kick Sensor technology for touchless flushing, officially debuting mid-year, along with the 'SILN Series' washbasin that revolutionizes design by seamlessly concealing the drainage channel.
Another strength of COTTO is being one of the few manufacturers in Thailand that controls every step of production in-house, with a comprehensive tile manufacturing base in Saraburi, which has been a crucial foundation for the brand for a long time. Currently, it has also expanded production capabilities to include materials like SPC and Luxury Vinyl from LT By COTTO to reduce reliance on imports and enhance cost management and supply chain agility amid competition, where many operators still depend on sourcing materials from abroad. This approach reflects readiness in production technology to elevate the Thai tile and sanitary ware industry to international standards.
Behind COTTO's success, in addition to developing solutions based on Customer Insight, the company also emphasizes developing installation standards and personnel in the industry by establishing a Technical Center to enhance the skills and knowledge of workers, which is a crucial factor in promoting growth and reinforcing the company's quality and reliability tangibly.
Moreover, COTTO continues to pursue the goal of Net Zero 2050, aiming to achieve net greenhouse gas emissions reduction by 2050, starting from environmentally friendly production processes, including reducing or recycling resource use and collaborating with communities to deliver quality products to customers with Master Level standards that reflect meticulousness in every aspect of the production process, receiving numerous awards from both domestic and international sources, such as environmental labels like Carbon Footprint of Product, Carbon Footprint Reduction, Circular Mark, Water Efficiency Label, Thai Green Label, alongside production process standards like Green Industry, Eco Factory, and prestigious design awards such as the Red Dot Design Award and German Design Award.
"Sustainability is a core vision of our business operations. We will continue to develop environmentally friendly production processes while collaborating with communities to enhance efficiency and encompass resource use aspects of sustainability in all dimensions because we believe that today's business growth is not just about numbers but must create long-term value for consumers, the industry, and the environment," Mr. Thanongchai concluded.
