Frasers Property Group Revives 3 High-Rise Offices in Thailand with Vertical Run Welcoming Over 1,000 Runners to Conquer 568.65 Meters and 3,667 Steps
The journey of a thousand miles begins with the first step. Recently, a highly publicized event in the social media world, the global Vertical Run competition—often informally referred to as a skyscraper running race—has attracted athletes from around the globe. This sport requires a combination of endurance, strength, and resilience to reach the finish line. It is said that you don’t have to be the first to cross the finish line; as long as you reach it, you have already broken your physical limits and conquered your own heart. This is the true essence of the vertical running event.
Thailand Marks Vertical Running at 3 High-Rise Offices in the City Center
Recently, Frasers Property Group organized a vertical running event to conquer three major office buildings in the city center under the “Bangkok Vertical Run Challenge Series 2026.” Runners who complete the vertical run at all three locations will earn the privilege of being among those who conquer a total height of 568.65 meters or 3,667 steps. Notably, all three buildings selected by Frasers Property Group for this event are among the most modern constructions in today’s architectural landscape. This vertical running event spans a full month, kicking off on February 7, 2026, with the first run at the “Mitr Town Office Tower,” which stands 32 stories tall with 976 steps.
Next, on February 21, 2026, the vertical running event continued at “Sathorn Square,” reaching a height of 41 stories with 1,086 steps. The final event took place on March 7, 2026, at the mega-project “One Bangkok,” which has an investment value of 120 billion baht, showcasing the “One Bangkok Tower 4,” standing 49 stories tall with 1,605 steps.
Endurance, Strength, and Resilience: The Ultimate Challenge for Vertical Runners
All runners in the vertical run, whether solo or in groups, are welcome to participate. Everyone is treated as a guest of Frasers Property Group. The rewards for vertical runners at these three major projects in Thailand include not only the achievement of breaking their personal limits by reaching the finish line atop the buildings but also the bonus of enjoying breathtaking views of the bustling metropolis of Bangkok. The views are filled with skyscrapers and stunning cityscapes, showcasing Bangkok's recognition as a global metropolis alongside leading cities like New York, London, and many others—views that few get to witness firsthand. Reflecting on the atmosphere of the first event at ‘Mitr Town Office Tower,’ it was filled with excitement, with over 300 runners participating, including youth, working adults, and seniors, both Thai and international.
Sathorn Square was the second building in the ‘Bangkok Vertical Run Challenge Series 2026,’ standing 41 stories tall with 1,086 steps, adding a challenge for over 350 participants. The highlight of this venue was the opportunity to experience the morning sky and the atmosphere of Sathorn Road, one of Bangkok's key landmarks, allowing runners to capture the moment and celebrate their victories together. This vertical running event energizes the active urban lifestyle promoted by Frasers Property Group. The final competition took place at One Bangkok Tower 4, a premium office building within the One Bangkok project, located on a vast 108-rai site in the heart of Rama 4, standing 49 stories tall with 1,605 steps, making it the tallest venue in this series. The atmosphere was filled with energy and cheers from family and a running community of over 450 people, culminating in a closing celebration with panoramic views of the city, creating a moment of pride and shared success.
The uniqueness of this final competition was honored by the presence of Mr. Chatchart Sitthiphan, the Governor of Bangkok, who officially opened the event, reflecting support for activities that promote health and quality of life for urban residents while encouraging runners determined to conquer the heights of Bangkok’s new landmark buildings, creating an inspiring atmosphere from the first step to the finish line.
For the best times across all three venues, the world champion tower runner from Malaysia, ‘Soh Wai Ching,’ emerged victorious amidst intense competition that tested both physical and mental strength. Many runners aimed to break their own records, showcasing the charm of vertical running, which measures not just speed but the ability to overcome personal limits with every step.
Spreading Positive Energy through the New Heart Foundation
One of the initiatives by Frasers Property Group is to provide a bridge of goodwill for participants across all three venues to be part of giving back. For every registration, 100 baht is donated to support heart disease patients in need through the New Heart Foundation, totaling 114,600 baht throughout the competition series. This reinforces Frasers Property Group's commitment to sustainable growth, emphasizing health, community, and creating a livable city for everyone.
