The Khon Kaen International Convention and Exhibition Center, or KICE, managed by CP Land Public Company Limited, has been certified under the ASEAN MICE Venue Standard (AMVS) and announced as a winner at the ASEAN Tourism Standards Awards 2026, organized by the Ministry of Tourism of the Republic of the Philippines during the ASEAN Tourism Forum 2026 (ATF 2026) in Cebu, Philippines. For the 2025 evaluation results, KICE achieved a Top 5 ranking in the Exhibition Venue category based on criteria such as infrastructure, safety, support systems, venue management, and overall service quality.

This AMVS certification places KICE among the venues recognized at the ASEAN standard level and ranked in the Top 5 for Exhibition Venues, providing valuable information for event organizers and international event planners regarding the readiness of the venue, support systems, and systematic on-site management.
Mr. Paramat Poonsombat, Director of the Office Business and Convention and Exhibition Business Group, stated that event organizers today are not only considering the size of the venue but also the systems and teams that will help achieve tangible results. The ASEAN certification of KICE clarifies decision-making as it demonstrates the venue's readiness in terms of infrastructure, management, and on-site operations. We have developed KICE to be a venue that simplifies event organization, allowing organizers to fully focus on the content and objectives of their events. At the same time, KICE serves as a critical MICE infrastructure in the Greater Mekong Subregion (GMS), supporting national and regional events and connecting organizers from Thailand and neighboring countries.
