ARAYA The Eastern Gateway is the first comprehensive industrial and innovation city ecosystem project in Thailand, officially launching the business model of factories and warehouses designed for multi-functionality. This allows for flexible usage of space as both manufacturing facilities and warehouses (Ready-Built Factory & Warehouse) under the name ARAYA Industrial and Logistics Hub. This initiative aims to drive the country's industrial and logistics sectors, reinforcing the commitment to building infrastructure that can adapt to the rapidly changing dynamics of the global supply chain, while enhancing Thailand's competitive capabilities, supporting the Smart Industrial Estate policy, and promoting investment in the digital sector to propel Thailand into becoming a key supply chain player in the region.

Ms. Kamolkan Kongkathong, Managing Director of Araya Land Development Co., Ltd., stated, "The launch of ARAYA Industrial and Logistics Hub at this time is aimed at addressing the needs of the global supply chain that emphasizes 'speed, security, and certainty.' This strategic location is ready to serve as a primary distribution hub connecting across the country to enhance long-term supply chain efficiency and link with our industrial and technology ecosystem."

ARAYA Industrial and Logistics Hub features ready-to-move-in warehouses and distribution centers, comprising over 23,639 square meters of building space, including 20,835 square meters of warehouse area and 2,804 square meters of office space across two floors. It is designed to accommodate both small and large logistics businesses, as well as those requiring speed, precision, and complex management systems, with world-class building specifications that ensure operational efficiency, such as:

  • Building Structure: 12-meter high ceilings provide maximum storage capacity, with a floor load capacity of 3 tons per square meter and a raised floor height of +1.30 meters for ease of loading and unloading.
  • Comprehensive Cargo Handling Systems: Includes 2 loading bays, 2 dock levelers, and 1 ramp access.
  • Traffic and Transportation Management: Systematically designed internal traffic routes clearly separate truck zones, employee vehicles, and parking areas to enhance safety and transport efficiency, accommodating both 6-wheeled trucks and large trailers.
  • Sustainability and Energy Efficiency: The building is designed according to LEED Certified Warehouse/Factory standards, utilizing energy efficiently with 400 lux LED lighting, natural light through skylights, and natural ventilation, along with insulated metal sheet roofing to reduce energy consumption and environmental impact.
  • Office Space and Amenities: Two-story office space that integrates flexible functionality, accommodating both office use and the potential to convert into showrooms as per business needs.

Currently, the ARAYA The Eastern Gateway project is continuously progressing, with plans to expand the industrial estate from 1,891 rai to 3,800 rai by 2026 to support investments in the country's target industries, such as advanced manufacturing, logistics and supply chain, digital technology, and data-driven industries, aligning with the country's new economic direction. The project has gained the trust of leading global companies, including IFMT in the semiconductor sector, MR. D.I.Y. in logistics, as well as top electronics companies and data center groups from China and Taiwan, along with leading food and beverage businesses from Europe, further emphasizing its potential as a hub for industry and technology in the region.

ARAYA The Eastern Gateway is developed under the concept of advanced infrastructure ready for the future, supporting seamless business startups. We believe that a strong foundation and highly flexible supply chain connectivity will lead our clients' businesses to sustainable success, regardless of how global trade directions may change," Kamolkan concluded.
