The Street Ratchada Shopping Center and CW Tower have been awarded the Carbon Footprint for Organization (CFO) certification from the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment (MNRE) through the Greenhouse Gas Management Organization (Public Organization). This certification signifies the responsibility and commitment of the organizations in managing and reducing greenhouse gas emissions. The certification process has been ongoing since 2009 to encourage various sectors to assess their greenhouse gas emissions, understand the quantity and sources of significant emissions, and lead to sustainable management for reducing greenhouse gases. The CFO certification includes product carbon footprint labels, organizational carbon footprint labels, carbon offset certification, and Net Zero labels at the product, event, and individual levels.

To honor and express gratitude to organizations that prioritize and play a role in driving the reduction of greenhouse gases in the country towards the Net Zero goal, the Greenhouse Gas Management Organization (GGMO) held a ceremony to present the carbon footprint certification. The ceremony was presided over by Ms. Patranan Thongpraphan, Deputy Secretary-General to the Prime Minister for Political Affairs. Mr. Pongsak Nuntawanakul, Managing Director of The Street Ratchada Shopping Center, and Mr. Nakrob Kulpanit, General Manager of CW Tower, represented the organizations in receiving the certificate.

Previously, the shopping center and the tower had passed the international standard ISO 14064-1:2018 for measuring and reporting greenhouse gas emissions, which confirms the commitment and intention of both organizations in conducting operations and environmental activities systematically, with standards, reliability, and continuity. This is part of the effort to drive Thailand towards a low-carbon society and achieve the national Net Zero goal sustainably.
