SC Signs MOU with Thammasat University's Faculty of Architecture to Enhance Academic Work, Research, and Personnel Development for Sustainable Urban Design
SC Asset, a leader in high-quality and innovative real estate, committed to creating business value that grows alongside society and the surrounding community, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Faculty of Architecture and Planning at Thammasat University for a period of three years. This collaboration aims to promote cooperation in education, research, and personnel development in both the academic and industrial sectors, providing opportunities for professors, experts, students, and company staff to exchange knowledge and apply it practically in real estate development and sustainable urban creation.

Mr. Puthikarn Aurath Chief Sustainability Officer of SC Asset Corporation Public Company Limited stated regarding this educational collaboration with Thammasat University's Faculty of Architecture that, “This collaboration marks an important step in integrating academic knowledge with real-world experience in the real estate industry. We hope that students and personnel will learn, develop skills, and enhance creativity through practical design activities, including knowledge exchange, creating joint learning programs, design competitions, and providing in-depth architectural and urban development consultations. This also reflects our shared goal of conducting in-depth research to advance future real estate projects while maintaining aesthetic appeal, beauty, and functional design that meets real usage needs, alongside improving the quality of life for residents. At the same time, we emphasize environmental issues, reducing energy consumption, and using resources efficiently to ensure that modern housing is environmentally friendly and truly aligns with the living context of future societies.”

The collaboration also aims to support research in technology, urban design, and the impacts on communities and the environment based on sustainable development concepts, including ESG frameworks, to ensure practical application and benefits for raising the standards of design and urban development in Thailand to be of high quality and sustainable in the future.
Additionally, this initiative opens opportunities for students from the Faculty of Architecture and Planning at Thammasat University to intern with SC Asset, while also supporting the development of curricula and organizing training activities or short courses to enhance skills and strengthen the capabilities of personnel in both educational institutions and the business sector.
