Origin Hotel Group, a business generating recurring income in the Hospitality & Tourism sector under Origin Property, has completed the sale of Staybridge Suites Bangkok Thonglor to Tanboon, a private company owned by Tan Paskornnatee. This transaction has resulted in a net cash flow increase of over 500 million baht and immediate profit recognition in Q4/2025, aligning with the business plan and agreements with joint venture partners.

Mr. Chanchai Pansopha, CEO of Origin Hotel Public Company Limited, which operates in the real estate sector focusing on hotels and services generating recurring income, revealed that the company has successfully sold Staybridge Suites Bangkok Thonglor to Tanboon Co., Ltd., a hotel business affiliated with the family of Mr. Tan Paskornnatee (not related to Ichitan Group). This sale has resulted in a net cash inflow of over 500 million baht and immediate profit recognition in Q4 of 2025.

Staybridge Suites Bangkok Thonglor is a large hotel and serviced apartment with 303 rooms, located on Sukhumvit Soi 55 (Thonglor), approximately 5 minutes from Thonglor BTS station. The project commenced operations in 2020 and is the first Staybridge Suites hotel under the InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) brand in the Asia-Pacific region, developed in collaboration with leading companies, including Origin Hotel Public Company Limited and Nomura Real Estate Development Co., Ltd. (NRED), to provide a stay experience that meets the needs of both Thai and international customers.

“The sale of Staybridge Suites Bangkok Thonglor to Tanboon Co., Ltd. marks the second hotel sale by Origin Hotel Public Company Limited, which is part of the recurring income business group of Origin Property. Previously, we sold a 51% stake in the InterContinental Bangkok Sukhumvit hotel to Ci:z Technologies in the third quarter. This aligns with our operational plans, as selling hotels after they have been operational for a while is part of our core business strategy to generate profits for the company and reinvest in developing additional hotels in the future,” Mr. Chanchai stated.

This leaves 9 hotels in operation, totaling 2,113 rooms valued at 9.79 billion baht, including Staybridge Suites Bangkok Sukhumvit, Holiday Inn Suites Sriracha, Holiday Inn Express Rayong, and Ibis Hua Hin, Phuket, and Krabi, among others. There are also projects under development in tourist cities like Bangkok, Phuket, Chiang Mai, and Pattaya.

2. Office Building Business - Currently preparing to open one office building for rent, Origin Complex Sanampao, with a total area of 32,200 square meters.

3. Commercial Development Business - Currently has 5 locations with a total area of 17,425 square meters, including Portobello Mall and Neighbor 24.
