The Siamese Architects Association collaborates with TTF to announce Architect'69, the largest architecture and construction technology exhibition in ASEAN, now in its 38th edition, under the theme "SATI: WISDOM: PROMPT". This theme reflects an awareness and understanding of the current situation, preparing to step into the future and pushing the direction of elevating Thai architecture to an international level. The event will showcase highlights from renowned global architects and feature innovations for comprehensive design and construction by over 1,000 international exhibitors. Admission is free from April 28 to May 3, 2026, at Challenger Hall, Impact Muang Thong Thani, with an expected turnout of up to 325,000 visitors.
Mr. Ase Sukyang, President of the Siamese Architects Association under Royal Patronage, stated during the press conference about the collaboration between the Siamese Architects Association and TTF International Co., Ltd. regarding the readiness for Architect'69, which has been held continuously for the 38th time. This event is the largest construction product technology exhibition and the most influential architecture exhibition in ASEAN, aimed at being a platform for disseminating and promoting architectural professional works and activities of the association, as well as serving as a medium for showcasing design, architectural works, construction product innovations, and related technologies comprehensively. It also promotes the architectural profession to members, students, and the general public to understand the role of social development and participation in driving the country's economy.
The Siamese Architects Association focuses on promoting, supporting, and disseminating education, research, and development for progress in the architectural profession and keeping pace with changes over time. Architect'69 continues the legacy of previous exhibitions, marking the 93rd anniversary of the association's founding, with a concept that emphasizes awareness of the present and future directions under the theme "SATI: WISDOM: PROMPT". This reflects an understanding of the rapidly changing current situation in terms of economic competition, employment, and the rapidly advancing technology of artificial intelligence, which poses challenges to lifestyles and thought processes. In architecture, there is a need to understand, adapt, and prepare to enhance the well-being of society and push the direction of elevating Thai architecture to an international level.

Moreover, Architect'69 aims to be a space for connecting people worldwide in the field of architecture through exhibitions, knowledge exchange forums, and experiences that promote the architectural profession. The event will also showcase design works, as well as products and services related to construction technology, materials, and innovations in the international architecture industry, covering over 75,000 square meters. Given the interest in the exhibition, knowledge-sharing activities, and comprehensive products and services, Architect'69 is expected to attract over 325,000 attendees.
Mr. Jaturon Kingmingha, Chairman of Architect'69, added that the overall expectation for the event is to elevate the exhibition to be memorable at the ASEAN level as a space that sparks creative energy, allowing everyone to experience the role of architects in driving the economy, society, and improving quality of life, alongside showcasing innovative products and technologies. The key milestone is to become "The Most Influential Architecture Exhibition in ASEAN," reflecting the creative power of architecture and the architectural profession under the theme "SATI: WISDOM: PROMPT," encouraging people to look to the future while understanding the present, identity, and roots by harnessing both traditional and contemporary knowledge, alongside artificial intelligence, to present on a global stage.
Activities at Architect'69 will be divided into five main sections: the main exhibition, academic exhibition, professional exhibition, activity and service area, and academic seminar section. The highlight of the main exhibition is the Thai Intelligence Exhibition, showcasing the design process distilled from human wisdom through real prototypes of craftsmanship and architectural elements, reflecting the thoughts, experiments, and experiences of Thai architects, merging local wisdom techniques into contemporary designs recognized globally and regionally (From Global to Local / From Local to Global). This exhibition is not just a display but a celebration of human wisdom, which is the foundation of creativity.
Another highlight is the ASA ALL MEMBER: Thailand Only exhibition, showcasing the works of members of the Siamese Architects Association, interpreting architectural design in the context of Thai identity through perspectives that may include beauty, poetic taste, humor, satire, or reflections of real life, creatively expressed in ways not found elsewhere. The ASA INTERNATIONAL FORUM will continue to feature keynote speakers who are renowned global architects, exchanging knowledge on interesting topics such as "Embracing Artificial Intelligence" and "Celebrating Timeless Human Wisdom," among others.
Additionally, there will be the ASA INSPIRATION LAB, combining professional seminars and workshops, creating a space for participants to meet real masters, learn from direct experiences, and engage in deep discussions to spark inspiration. There will also be an international design competition (ASA Experimental International Design Competition) allowing members, architects, students, and the general public to submit design concepts.
Within the event, there will be many interesting exhibition zones created in collaboration with four professional architectural organizations: the Siamese Architects Association under Royal Patronage, the Association of Thai Interior Designers, the Association of Thai Landscape Architects, and the Association of Thai Urban Planners. There will also be architectural service activities organized by architects for interested citizens, such as the architecture preparation clinic in collaboration with CDAST and the Architects Council, providing information on preparing to study to become architects, professional work in architecture, the ASA SHOP selling books and souvenirs from the association, the ASA Book Shop selling books from educational institutions and organizations related to architecture, and the ASA KIDS CLUB featuring KITBLOX, large building blocks for children to play and develop skills. More details can be followed at www.asaexpo.org.
The Chairman of Architect'69 concluded about the exhibition area, stating, "Architect'69 emphasizes the policy of 'ASA100 SUSTAINABLE: TOWARDS SUSTAINABLE ASA ARCHITECT EXPO' by driving design and construction technology that is environmentally friendly, reducing resource waste and minimizing waste for sustainable development.
Moreover, exhibitors are encouraged to present their booth designs according to varying levels of readiness to create awareness at a broad societal level through a checklist assessment to receive the "ASA GREEN PAVILION AWARDS" for the best booth of the year, aiming to elevate the standards of pavilions and exhibition booths to collectively reduce environmental impacts concretely as we approach the 100th anniversary celebration of the Siamese Architects Association in the near future, and to build a foundation for sustainable product exhibitions.
Mr. Supaman Markha, Deputy Managing Director of TTF International Co., Ltd., the organizer of Architect'69, stated, "The Architect Expo, organized by the Siamese Architects Association under Royal Patronage in collaboration with TTF International Co., Ltd., is the largest platform for the Thai architecture and construction industry, covering over 75,000 square meters with more than 1,000 leading exhibitors, including about 18% from abroad, presenting over 100,000 innovative products and services in design and construction. The event is expected to attract over 325,000 visitors over six days, generating a circulation of over 22 billion baht. Architect Expo is thus considered one of the key indicators reflecting the growth trend of the Thai construction industry valued at over 1.4 trillion baht annually. This event also plays a role as a driving force for the creative economy, impacting various related industries such as construction materials, interior design, real estate, and service businesses like logistics, advertising, and event management, all of which help create jobs, stimulate investment, and expand business collaboration opportunities both domestically and internationally concretely."
Regarding the visitor data from Architect'68, over 325,000 attendees were recorded, with industry professionals in the design and construction sector accounting for over 65%. The most represented professions were architects at 14.19%, followed by designers at 8.94%, contractors at 8.13%, engineers at 7.60%, construction material dealers or wholesalers at 6.68%, and investors or real estate developers at 4.04%. When categorized by job level, business owners and stakeholders accounted for the highest proportion at 22.61%, followed by supervisors at 7.24%, middle management at 5.45%, and senior executives at 4.46%. All of this reflects that Architect Expo serves as a connecting point for decision-makers in the industry, from professional designers to major investors.
Key highlights of the event include the Thematic Pavilion, which has been continuously developed since 2022 through collaboration between designers and construction material manufacturers in the form of Exhibitor x Designer, translating innovations and creative experiences from product exhibitions into an experience and inspiration event (Sensing & Experience) that attendees can truly engage with. This has gained international recognition, such as the Thematic Pavilion "S-ONE Aluminum Grotto" at Architect'67, designed by architects Jerry Hung and Kullathida Songkitpipat from HAS Design and Research, which won the award for outstanding architecture from The Chicago Athenaeum Museum’s International Architecture Awards in the United States. At Architect'69, there will be the most Thematic Pavilions ever, totaling seven spaces: 1. WATSADUNIYOM x HAA STUDIO 2. VANACHAI x Studio Tofu 3. TODA x Supermachine 4. PANEL PLUS X ACa Architects 5. SCG x SaTa Na 6. HAFELE x HAS Design and Research 7. BRT x Context Studio.
Additionally, another highlight is the Palette of Materials Pavilion, which is a collaboration between the organizers and the company Look Play Architects Co., Ltd. to create a space that conveys the "ideas" and "inspirations" of 40 designers through 80 Mood Boards crafted from 800 products, allowing attendees to understand the emotions and approaches to blending diverse materials in design, creating a new experience for viewing the Architect Expo.
"Thematic Pavilion and Palette of Materials Pavilion are works that elevate the Architect Expo to an international stage, representing a collaboration between designers and construction material manufacturers from various brands to create a showcase of contemporary design concepts and foster dialogue between material brands and designers. These two landmarks reinforce the role of the Architect Expo as an international platform that powerfully integrates 'business-design-technology.'"
Currently, Architect'69 has received a positive response from leading exhibitors both domestically and internationally, such as SCG, TOA, PANTAMITR, MAKITA, JORAKAY, TODA, HAFELE, MAHAJAK, EDL, CRISTINA, VG, CONWOOD, TOSTEM, S-ONE, BOONTHAVORN, DOS, etc., all preparing products and services that meet the needs of modern consumers. One trend to watch is innovations and services aimed at driving the industry to grow on the foundation of sustainability and well-being, as the concept of Wellness & Longevity-by-Design is likely to become a significant opportunity for the new architecture and construction industry, emphasizing the design of buildings and living spaces that promote well-being and quality of life, from environmentally friendly materials to clean energy systems and designs for the elderly and sustainable living. This trend opens new spaces for material manufacturers and designers to create products and projects that directly address the needs of modern consumers," Mr. Supaman stated.
Ms. Thitiporn Nookong, Assistant Managing Director of Property Development, Managing Director (Silver Wellness Project) of BDMS Wellness Clinic, one of the speakers during the forum on "The Future of Consumer Experience: From Smart Design to Intelligent Service," said, "Thailand has a distinctive strength and plays a significant role in the global health economy, including medical tourism, unique services, and hospitality, which enhances the opportunity to elevate Thailand to a global Wellness Hub. Additionally, Thailand has a vision for developing a holistic health system by integrating medical services with architectural design, as reflected in various projects, such as BDMS Wellness Clinic, which features universally friendly architectural design, and BDMS Mövenpick Wellness Resort, which emphasizes design for a complete relaxation experience, including rooms conducive to quality sleep, noise-reducing systems, and air purifiers to provide clean air for clients. All elements reflect the concept of 'design for well-being' that elevates the standards of the Thai health industry to an international level."
Associate Professor Dr. Surapong Lertsitthichai, Chief Design Officer of Idealist Corporation, presented a new concept regarding the direction of architecture in the future, which must integrate human intelligence, living intelligence, and environmental intelligence, based on "Sati" and "Wisdom" to create living forms that are balanced and harmonious with all forms of life. He stated that the concept of "well-being" in the new era must go beyond caring for humans alone and must encompass the entire ecosystem, including animals, plants, and other natural elements, emphasizing that Sati is a crucial skill that helps designers and developers understand and respect the intelligence of nature in guiding design directions.
Associate Professor Dr. Surapong also discussed the important role of artificial intelligence in translating the patterns of life and nature into usable data, enabling architecture to respond deeply to both human and environmental needs, creating 'spaces' that understand life and align more closely with nature.

Regarding the future of Thai and international architecture, Associate Professor Dr. Surapong believes that the balance between nature and AI will drive the emergence of new adaptive and regenerative architecture at the building, public space, and urban planning levels, forming a development framework that aligns with global sustainability.
