Mr. Laitawat Kowawisarach stated, “The Dusit Ajara Hua Hin project is developed with commitment and intention to present a new lifestyle concept encapsulated in the phrase ‘the happiness of living with quality of life in every dimension’. We plan to develop residential spaces as ‘Low Rise, Low Density’ that promote ‘Multi-generational Living’, catering to all age groups from children to adults and seniors, allowing all family members, including pets, to live together and share valuable moments. We aim to enhance the quality of life to meet Well-being needs, fostering physical and mental health and creating a good community. This reinforces our position as 'The Only Thai Branded Residence' that offers an elevated living experience, taking care of residents with international service standards, complete with 24-hour Concierge service, akin to having a personal assistant to cater to every need, along with housekeeping services twice a week to maintain the beauty of the residence throughout the project duration, internal shuttle services, emergency transport services from hospitals, and workshops such as cooking classes, exercise, yoga, and activities in the organic farm that allow residents to enjoy quality time together in a healthy manner, such as rice planting, vegetable growing, collecting fresh eggs, and feeding baby goats, to ensure everyone experiences a harmonious Wellness lifestyle.

For the Dusit Ajara Hua Hin project, we have laid a significant foundation since the design phase to create a new standard for residential living, which is recognized as the first Low Rise residential project developed according to the world-class Fitwel: Low Rise Residential standards in Asia. This ensures residents can trust in a holistic quality of life, with beautiful design both inside and outside the buildings, the use of high-quality materials and components, communal areas and facilities that encourage activities among family members of all generations, and a quality community, including thoughtfully designed green spaces that enhance both the scenic beauty and the health of residents, while considering the integration of various functions of the Dusit Thani Hua Hin hotel and the surrounding social and environmental context.”

Mr. Laitawat continued, “By integrating Fitwel standards with our design intentions, the overall vision of the project is conveyed to promote and provide quality of life and well-being for residents through ultra-luxury living, with only 96 units on a 20-rai area, considering the needs of every family member across all ages, combined with Universal Design principles that accommodate diverse usage. For instance, ramps designed for wheelchair accessibility to each room and area of the project, bathrooms equipped with Grab Bars and slip-resistant tiles, and a Relaxing Pool with handrails around the pool for enhanced safety in all usages. The interior design presents a seamless connection among three zones: Multi-generational Space for family time, Semi-private Space for semi-personal activities linked to service areas, and Private Space for utmost privacy. Moreover, the project considers the selection of premium, durable, elegant, and easy-to-maintain materials to support long-term practical use, such as premium sanitary ware that combines design and technology for hygiene and comfort, as well as the choice of bathroom walls, bathroom floors, room floors, balconies, and decorative walls with natural patterns in a modern style that provide warmth and durability, including low-heat-retaining ceramic roof tiles that withstand Thailand's weather and have a long lifespan. We are committed to selecting environmentally friendly materials that mitigate global warming and support sustainable living.”

We believe that pioneering the Fitwel: Low Rise Residential standards in the Dusit Ajara Hua Hin project from the design and development stages is a significant step in the Thai real estate industry that aims to create sustainable value for residents, encompassing physical health, mental health, and holistic quality of life, while demonstrating our commitment and sincerity in genuinely enhancing the quality of life for residents, focusing not only on aesthetics or luxury but also on health and well-being in the long term,” Mr. Laitawat concluded.

Mr. Wachirachai Koonamwattana, Deputy Chief Sustainability Officer and Technical Team Lead – SCG Green Choice, SCG Group stated, “SCG is proud to contribute our knowledge and expertise to the development of the Dusit Ajara Hua Hin project by designing it to meet Fitwel certification standards for healthy buildings, which integrates advanced health features to promote physical activity and increase access to green spaces for everyone.”

“The Fitwel standards focus on creating environments that promote health within buildings and residences, making them livable, safe, and health-friendly. Initiated by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the main goal is to develop design and management standards that enable residents to have a good environment and quality of life, covering both physical and mental well-being. The Dusit Ajara Hua Hin project adopting the Fitwel: Low Rise Residential standards from the outset of design and development will set a benchmark for the project and establish a standard for an environment rich in both physical and mental well-being, enhancing the quality of life for residents under the concept of seven aspects:

  1. Impacts Surrounding Community Health - Designing residences to promote health for residents while benefiting the surrounding community, such as creating large green spaces that connect both within and around the project or community agricultural product sharing areas.
  2. Reduces Morbidity and Absenteeism - Designing to reduce health issues among residents by promoting environments that support exercise or health activities or increasing light and green spaces in buildings.
  3. Supports Social Equity for Vulnerable Populations - Designing with consideration for everyone, following Universal Design principles for equitable access for all residents of all forms, ages, and generations, including the general public, children, seniors, persons with disabilities, pregnant women or new mothers, or socio-economically disadvantaged persons.
  4. Instills Feelings of Well-being - Designing to create well-being for community members, such as creating clean, safe, relaxing environments with green spaces that are easily accessible to nature for all groups, allowing for equal participation in activities, including emergency assistance when necessary.
  5. Enhances Access to Healthy Foods - Designing spaces that provide facilities for accessing healthy food and beverages, such as food and drinking water corners within residential buildings or communal areas.
  6. Promotes Occupant Safety - Designing spaces that enhance safety and reduce accident risks, such as preventing accidents in pedestrian and bicycle areas, as well as designing safe staircases and accommodating emergency situations.
  7. Increases Physical Activity - Designing to promote activities that enhance physical movement throughout the day, such as initiatives supporting walking, using stairs instead of elevators, and providing sufficient exercise areas.

Additionally, the Dusit Ajara Hua Hin project has chosen to use SCG products that have received the 'Green Choice' label, which indicates that the products have been verified and confirmed by SCG to be environmentally friendly and sustainable solutions, benefiting both residents and the planet. This integrates values related to climate resilience, circular economy, and well-being, reflecting our commitment to creating vibrant and sustainable communities for all generations,” Mr. Wachirachai added.
