Furthermore, Sansiri is the first company of Kasikornbank to use the assessment criteria aligned with the Thailand Taxonomy, which includes rigorous international verification mechanisms (photo taken together at Kasikornbank's headquarters recently).

Sansiri and Kasikornbank, two leaders in the Thai real estate and financial sectors, announced a significant collaboration to create a crucial mechanism to drive Thailand towards its Net Zero goal. Kasikornbank supports environmental loans or green loans of the Pre-Finance type, providing a Pre-Finance amount of 4 billion baht for 3 condominium projects by Sansiri, which include PTY Residence Sai 1 in Pattaya, The Standard Residences Hua Hin, and WIDEN by Sansiri, a model condominium project aimed at setting new standards.

Sansiri is also the first company of Kasikornbank to use the assessment criteria aligned with the Thailand Taxonomy, which includes rigorous international verification mechanisms, in accordance with the environmental loan assessment from Kasikornbank. This is a significant step reflecting the role of the Bank of Sustainability in encouraging partners to conduct business sustainably.
Mr. Uthai Uthaisangsu, Managing Director of Sansiri Public Company Limited, stated, "Sansiri integrates sustainability concepts into its business operations, working, and project development with partners throughout the entire value chain, including design, material procurement, construction, project delivery, living experience, and after-sales service. This is achieved through Sansiri's sustainable project development principles or the 3 Green Framework, from upstream to downstream (Green Architecture and Design, Green Construction, Green Procurement), as well as business development and collaboration with partners to drive tangible sustainability. Moreover, the 3 condominium projects by Sansiri, which include PTY Residence Sai 1 in Pattaya, The Standard Residences Hua Hin, and WIDEN by Sansiri, have adopted the 'Sansiri Sustainable Design' concept in their design, aiming to create living spaces that harmoniously blend happiness and sustainability in all dimensions, including physical health, mental well-being, comfort, and coexistence with nature. The development approach emphasizes the use of environmentally friendly materials that align with the climate to genuinely enhance the quality of life for residents."

This collaboration is not only about business growth but also about creating long-term value for residents, society, and contributing to the tangible achievement of Thailand's net greenhouse gas emissions reduction goals. Consumers will benefit from the collaboration between Sansiri and Kasikornbank, such as long-term cost savings, improved quality of life and health, and contributing to social and environmental value.
Ms. Kattiya Indaravichai, CEO of Kasikornbank, stated, "Sansiri is an important business partner of Kasikornbank and a leader in real estate development focused on creating sustainable living spaces and communities, which aligns with Kasikornbank's concept of being the Bank of Sustainability, promoting sustainable projects and serving as a powerful mechanism to encourage the real estate sector to pay attention to environmental issues, which is a global priority."

This collaboration has set a new standard for Thai real estate by using rigorous assessment criteria aligned with the Thailand Taxonomy, establishing that "the intensity of greenhouse gas emissions per building area (Emission Intensity)" corresponds with Thailand's carbon reduction pathway for the building sector. Sansiri has received certification for the Emission Intensity from Bureau Veritas, an international expert in verifying and certifying greenhouse gas emission intensity for all 3 of Sansiri's projects according to international standards, aiming to support organizations in achieving carbon neutrality. Sansiri can apply and adapt this set of standards to meet its main goal of becoming an organization with net-zero greenhouse gas emissions.
