Orsirin Education Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Orsirin Holding Public Company Limited, a leading real estate developer in Northern Thailand, is expanding its business into a new visionary role by investing over 1 billion baht. The company has announced the launch of Mill Hill International School Thailand, the first premium British international school offering the Authentic British curriculum in Chiang Mai. This marks the first time in history that Mill Hill Education Group has expanded its schools internationally beyond the United Kingdom, truly transforming the educational landscape in Northern Thailand by integrating over 200 years of Mill Hill School's legacy with the concept of 'Connecting the World', aiming to cultivate new leaders who excel academically and in life skills while being happy, under the philosophy of 'Instilling Values, Inspiring Minds.'

Arkhadech Udomsiritamrong, Deputy CEO of Orsirin Holding Public Company Limited and CEO of Orsirin Education Co., Ltd., stated, "We see a strong growth trend for international schools in Thailand, especially in Chiang Mai, which is a tourist city and economic hub with a growing number of expatriate families and affluent Thai families. Although there are currently over 25 international schools in Chiang Mai, second only to Bangkok, we still see significant potential to elevate educational standards to a global level. With our experience and strength in real estate development and business networks in Chiang Mai, Orsirin is ready to support the growth of Mill Hill International School and complete the Lifestyle Ecosystem for students and parents comprehensively.

Research shows that there are currently not many schools in Thailand recognized as 'British Branded Schools'. Therefore, we are committed to developing 'the best international school' by signing an MOU with Mill Hill Education Group, an institution with over 200 years of history in the UK, to open the first school outside the UK in Chiang Mai, which is a significant step in enhancing the quality of education in this region.

The key to success is Kate Simon, former headteacher of Grimsdell Mill Hill School, which is one of the schools in the Mill Hill Education Group. She, along with a team of teachers from Mill Hill UK, will fly directly to take on the role of the first headteacher of Mill Hill International School Thailand, together with Dr. Yuttachai Damrongmanee, the school's director with over 30 years of experience in international education. Mill Hill International School Thailand is an 'Extraordinary value' international school that maintains the same educational standards as the flagship school in the UK, but with tuition fees that are three times lower than those in England.

Kate Simon commented on this strategic collaboration, saying, "Mill Hill School was established in London in 1807, accumulating over 200 years of educational philosophy. Today, Mill Hill is part of the Mill Hill Education Group, which has a network of partner schools worldwide. Many of our alumni have achieved global recognition, including Sir Denis Thatcher, a leading businessman and husband of former UK Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher, Harry Melling, a famous actor from the Harry Potter films, Sir Norman Hartnell, the designer for the British royal family, Prof. Sir Richard Evans, a world-renowned historian, Francis Crick, co-discoverer of DNA, and James Murray, the first editor of the Oxford English Dictionary.

Chiang Mai is a center for education in Northern Thailand, renowned for its culture and tourism, with a close-to-nature environment and mountains. This aligns with the philosophy of Forest Learning, allowing us to see the opportunity to bring authentic educational standards from London to this region for the first time, integrating the authentic British curriculum with Thai culture and traditional values, focusing on developing potential to create a perfectly balanced learner.

Dr. Yuttachai Damrongmanee stated, "Mill Hill International School Thailand is not a franchise but a school directly under the Mill Hill Education Group, which will maintain the same standards as the flagship school in the UK. Additionally, we will implement the House System to foster teamwork and natural leadership skills. For the first academic year, we are accepting students from Nursury to Year 6, with nearly 100 students, comprising 50% Thai students and 50% from China, America, the UK, and Europe. We aim to have 850 students by 2030.

The tuition fee is approximately 400,000-600,000 baht per year, which is three times cheaper than Mill Hill School in London, while students receive the same curriculum and teaching standards. Furthermore, we are preparing a student exchange program with partner schools in the UK, providing children with real experiences and understanding the foundations of education from the Mill Hill Group.

Kanayanrat Rattanasaicharn, the manager of Mill Hill International School Thailand, stated, "We prioritize hygiene and safety first, selecting facilities suitable for the developmental stages of students, along with a Forest School curriculum, science rooms, art rooms, music rooms, libraries, and areas for indoor and outdoor sports, as well as strict Security & Safety measures, including the installation of Positive Air Pressure systems and PM2.5 dust measuring devices.

The school has planned for expansion over the next 4 years, from kindergarten to Year 13, starting with student enrollment from Nursury to Year 6 in the first academic year 2568 and gradually opening each year until fully operational by the academic year 2571, including a Sport Complex with an Olympic-sized swimming pool, tennis courts, standard football fields with a running track, and a modern gymnasium. Additionally, there will be a Boarding School to accommodate the school's expansion.

Mill Hill International School Thailand is ready to elevate the educational standards of the country and create a new generation of youth prepared to connect to a borderless world for learning and self-development happily.
