Simmons Expands Market in Thailand with the Launch of Simmons Gallery Thonglor, Elevating Premium Sleep Experience and Strengthening Presence in the ASEAN Market
Simmons, a global mattress brand from the United States trusted by luxury hotels worldwide, continues to push into the Thai market by launching its latest showroom, "Simmons Gallery Thonglor," covering an area of 270 square meters in the heart of Sukhumvit 55. This move aims to enhance its strategy to target consumers seeking high-quality sleep experiences while elevating brand awareness in the premium mattress market across Southeast Asia.

This new showroom builds on the success of the Simmons Gallery at Crystal Design Center (CDC), which has been operating for over 10 years. Simmons Gallery Thonglor will be the first showroom to launch new products manufactured in Thailand, including Beautyrest Prime & Platinum Series and BeautySleep Essential Series, catering to both retail customers and corporate clients in the market seeking accessible premium products.

Mr. Aloysius Chiu, General Manager (Regional Business) of Simmons SEA Pte Ltd, stated, "Southeast Asia, particularly Thailand, is a market with high growth potential. The opening of Simmons Gallery Thonglor is a strategic investment in terms of location and the experience within the showroom, designed to accommodate both retail and corporate clients. The second floor of the showroom has been designated as a special area for hotels and institutional clients to test products before making a purchase, reinforcing our belief that a great experience must be tangible."
Domestic Production Strategy to Respond Quickly to Market Needs
Simmons has launched two new mattress series manufactured in Thailand using Pocketed Coil spring systems imported from Japan:
- Beautyrest Prime & Platinum Series – Accessible Luxury group
Starting price is approximately 65,000 THB.
- BeautySleep Essential Series – Entry-level model priced at approximately 25,000 THB.
Additionally, flagship models imported from Japan, such as Beautyrest Black and BackCare, will continue to be sold in the high-end segment, priced from 150,000 THB and up. The domestic assembly strategy aims to enhance flexibility in Just-in-Time delivery, reduce import costs, and meet the increasing demand from the luxury residential and hotel sectors in Thailand.

Consumer Insights and Market Overview
"Thai consumers are increasingly prioritizing health and are more discerning in choosing products for their daily lives, especially those related to sleep. They also support locally produced goods," Mr. Chiu added. "Manufacturing in Thailand is therefore a key factor that helps us better control quality, respond quickly to market demands, and strengthen our connection with Thai consumers."
This year, Simmons is also celebrating the 100th anniversary of the Beautyrest brand under the regional campaign "Advance Your Sleep," reflecting its mission to elevate the sleep experience through design, technology, and long-term health benefits.
